Everything about my experience selling my flat with Portland has been positive, from my first reaching out to them after a diabolical experience with a certain well-known online agency, all the way through the selling process up to exchange and completion. They are a local agency who make you feel that you are their only priority and are quick to put you at ease and offer constructive advice. They ensured that all agents who would be showing the flat knew everything about it prior to viewings starting. I can't praise Portland, particularly Paul and Henry, highly enough. After having my property on the market for the best part of a year with two other agents, Portland got me a proceedable offer within a couple of weeks. Despite unforeseen issues and complications, they worked incredibly hard to see it through to completion and kept me updated and reassured every step of the way. What’s the most important thing about having property managers? Is it a company that has its ducks in a row regarding paperwork, gas and electricity certificates, regular inspections, tenant vetting and countless other dreary necessities of running a rental? Yes, of course, and Portland does this without me even noticing, as it should be. Much more tangible for me however is having someone that picks up the phone every time I call and deals with whatever issue I might have, quickly and competently. Portland Agency is just that, they are the very opposite of “computer says no”. To say they deliver five-star service is actually an understatement, this is the very definition of personal service. I cannot recommend them enough.

From meeting Henry when he valued our property, the team at Portland's have been an absolute delight (and great fun) to work with. Their communication and openness is unique, and they ensure that you are fully looped in and understand what's going on - ie you don't feel like yet another number on a spreadsheet of 'deals'. No random emails about viewings booked in were received, instead the team texted us about what times worked FOR US and not only that, Leha held a weekly call to keep us updated on how the sale was going.
