Portico complaints and deposit issues.All, i am a previous tenant of portico and am in the process of registering complaints with the regulators in respect of their work. In short; Their staff do not reply to reasonable requests, they give misleading information in respect of their obligations to tenants, they fail to act with reasonable care and skill in the undertaking of their work and they do not have a coherent complaints policy or guidance. Terrible company for tenants

I rent a property managed by Portico and since they took over, the service we've received has been the worst I'd ever experienced before. It's diffult to get in atouch with them - I prefer emails since I like to have everything in writing, but they often don't respond to email at all. Repairs take months to be done. They charge very high moving-in fees and contract extension fees every year. I'm really not happy with them, but what can I do? I advise all renters and landlords (if they care about the well-being of their tenants) to not use their services.

Terrible service. I was planning to let out my property and use Portico. I left early from my office to meet someone at my flat but she never showed up. No messages, nothing. I called to their office and they said trying to reach her but again I heard nothing back. I tried calling back to the person I spoke earlier and then she stopped taking the calls (probably left home). The result was only time wasted from side. If the company is this bad selling themselves, there is no chance I will trust my property to their hands. Luckily there are better agents in Hammersmith. I recommend to avoid them and just use another agent across the street.

They are only quick on the raising rent notice

They are so slow on helping tenants.They took 4 months to fix our blinds. We have reported water leaks in our house, never been fixed. Once they replaced our clothes washing machine with a broken second hand they need it to replace again after some cloths being damaged.AVOID THIS AGENCY!

AVOID - PORTICO DOES NOT HONOUR CONTRACT

Avoid using portico property at all costs. They are yet to return our deposit despite us moving out over a month ago and are now claiming that certain clauses in our signed tenancy agreement are ‘guidelines’ and that they do not have to honour their side of the contract. They will do anything to keep your money and are without doubt the worst estate agent I have ever had the misfortune of using. DO NOT USE PORTICO.
