Terrible experience. Made our moving day horrible and the staff is clearly not trained properly .The rip off the landlords and they don`t care about you new home .Never again with them ! especially Flora the agent she was helping us she is terrible .

Worst agency ever. First when we were about to make a contract they lied to me that landlord doesn’t want deposit and force to go with no deposit option. After 12 months I find out from the landlord itself that he wanted that deposit but the agent lied to him that I refused to go with deposit and no deposit option was my decision…. Avoid at any chanceBefore their name was outlook and I think they just changing their name in certain amount of time just to cover their disgusting service!!!

Even though I didn't manage to find a flat with them, Sian would keep me posted via email of the new properties on the market that fitted my needs and was very quick with her replies. GoogleWorst estate agents I've ever dealt with. We only just got our (full) deposit back after having to take portico and the landlord to the deposit protection team, who luckily agreed with us that all the deductions they asked for were absolutely unfounded- we moved out in the first week of September. It took over three months to get our deposit back and portico just straight up ignored any calls and emails. So much went wrong with the flat when we lived there that was natural wear and tear, and we were blamed for things going wrong, or issues such as broken single pane glass entry point doors took months to fix. Nobody ever took accountability, nobody will ring us back to discuss any complaints about procedure, and nobody in that office actually cares. We didnt receive our inventory for months into the tenancy; we also didnt receive our landlord's details until three weeks before moving out, and this is only when we pressured them for this (legally this needs to be done in the first three weeks). Portico have ignored us for months ans refused to discuss the deposit. We are considering legal action at this point due to sheer negligance on their part throughout the entire tenancy. Do not ever use this company; they want to bury their heads in the ground and blame you for any mistakes. Their communication is atrocious. If you want to lose money, standards, and time, then this is the company for you.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Horrendous company. Beyond incompetent! I rented from Portico for 3 years in Leytonstone London. They were slow to react to issues with the property including our loss of heating for 4 days in winter and them failing to address the issue with any pace or urgency. Finally, expect to receive a huge deduction from your deposit when you leave the property. We were charged £550 for cleaning... considering the checkout report surmised the mess as "light dusting required", i think this excessive. I have gone through approx 12 estate agents in London over the years and i can honestly give the award for complete and utter incompetence and money grabbing to Portico.... never ever again.

Just another commission crazed organisation. Took all fees up front, stopped paying me then tried to charge me more fees that I had already paid.....accounts team not interested and just defending the deductions. Was told they have already taken the payment so nothing I could do...... Holly in the local office is the delightful exception and treated me like a valued client and apologised for the error.....sadly she is an outlier in Portico....once they have your commission they have no interest in you.
