Very poor after-sales service

Actually they were pretty good when we were looking for a house to rent and helped us through that process very well. But the follow up on the maintenance issues has been extremely poor. We raised several health and safety issues and 6 weeks later they have still not been addressed despite telling us in a mail how they would be fixed. Every problem is pushed off to someone else. You really feel like they took their commission and now they don't care. Very disappointing after-sales service from Pedder in Dulwich Village.

Difficult to get deposit back and don't look into wear & tear

We have just finished the tenancy with Pedder Dulwich Village and they seem to be heavily favouring landlords for checkout deposit process. We paid for an expensive professional end of tenancy clean but pedder inventory clerk reported such minor issues that it looked hilarious to even notice it.Similarly, they didn't take normal wear and tear into account and Pedder just asked me to talk directly to the landlord for deposit negotiations instead of looking to propose and release the deposit. It sounds a big pain to get the deposit back.I would refrain from taking a property again from Pedder and suggest them to be practical so that people have a smooth experience.

I can not thank Reinis Pauls (and the team) at FH Pedder enough for being a great agent on my recent house purchase. Reinis (Ray) was always helpful, polite, calm and just well informed on every level. He was particularly helpful when I encountered a hiccup at exchange and the seller almost pulled the plug (not helpful) but he kept everyone calm and we got over the hump. I would 100% recommend Pedder after my experience and intend to use them again in the future.

I gave 1 star because I couldn't put up a review unless I did a rating. The real rating is 0 stars. They will rent your property to people who will wreck it, tenants who will bring down the value of the property, leave behind infestations and destroy any goodwill with your neighbours. Experienced adults using the garden as a bathroom, rubbish left outside for months because not placed in the correct bin, reports of noise, Police attendance at the property etc etc.
