I've lived for 8 years in a house in Turnpike Lane managed by Michael Naik & co. They were excellent at responding promptly to any maintenance needs and communication was always clear throughout my tenancy. They were very discreet and respectful of the tenants. Horribly rude, terrible service. They do not have the houses cleaned before the change hands then blame you for the state you find them in. They will say anything wrong is your fault and respond rudely via phone or email. Please do yourselves a favour and do not sign any contract with these criminals. Especially rude was an employee named Gillian who lied through her teeth on multiple occasions. Avoi at all costs.

After a lengthy search and considerable stress, with a mounting time pressure to find somewhere to live, my girlfriend and I came across a property managed by Michael Naik. We were able to arrange a viewing the same evening and were shown around by Jack. The viewing was extremely pleasant and Jack answered our (many) questions straightforwardly and with the kind of professionalism and brevity that we had not been met with at many of our other viewings. With a good first impression and a prospective flat in Hackney Wick that we both felt was excellent value for money, we decided to go ahead with it. Throughout the process we dealt with Jack directly, which made things feel clear and simple from the off. He understood our time constraint and was extremely communicative throughout the whole process and very quick to respond to all of our emails and queries, while expediting the processing of our application and referencing. Overall, the turnaround from arranging the viewing to moving in worked out perfectly. Jack made it feel totally stress-free, friendly and relaxed. In my experience of moving homes in London, this has been straightforwardly the most pleasant one I've had in my dealings with any sales/lettings agency.

We rented in Stoke Newington through Michael Naik and they have been very good throughout the process (surprised to read such negative reviews, really). They have very quick to respond to any issues and have arranged contractors to come to the flat immediately when things have gone wrong. We have dealt mostly with Gillian who has been superb: very professional and communicative. Sean is also fantastic - he went above and beyond to come and rescue us late in the evening when we were locked out (completely our own fault) and he was incredibly generous to do so.

I recently sold my Stoke Newington flat through Michael Naik. I have some previous experience of buying, selling and letting property with other agents both in London and the provinces and with that in mind I have been impressed with Michael Naik throughout; I found the staff to be both friendly and also very knowledgeable of the Stoke Newington property market. My main point of contact was Jack Thompson. I found Jack to be very positive in his outlook and very willing to go the extra mile. Communication was excellent, responding to email or texts within a few minutes, which for me was very important, as I do not live in London. Jack is professional, rational, and not prone to the usual “Sales Patter”... from the outset there was no overpricing of the property in order to flatter me or to try to convince me of unrealistic expectations in order just to sign me up. The service I received throughout the entire process was very polite, courteous and prompt. I would use their services again if the opportunity arose and would recommend to my friends and associates.
