TrustpilotLittle Venice M&P - Outrageous
We rented a property with the Little Venice branch of M&P and had a nightmare experience. The property manager changed hands atleast 3 times and crucial issues were never remedied. Their internal documentation and controls are extremely poor. At the end of our tenancy, the agency did not for the longest time communicate anything for the return of our deposit. After chasing them for weeks, they tried to deduct £360 from our deposit as a “cleaning fee”. They have irresponsible employees and property managers won’t respond to emails and will offer out of context / incomplete responses when he does respond. We were forced to dispute this deduction with TDS and the decision was obviously in our favour in the end.

I’ve been letting my flat via marsh and parsons for a few years now, and the most important person is your tenancy manager. In my case , Michael stout - he is always so quick and responsive to anything I ask and always lets me know anything important before hand so I can have time to act. He makes my life much easier when dealing with flat issues .

Baran attended to me concerning an issue with my Landlord.During our conversation, he was polite, responsible, respectful and made every effort to understand my situation.He considered all the salient issues before making any comments.He was non-judgmental and unbiased when giving advice.He understood the requirements of his job and tried his best to endure costumer satisfaction was reached by the end of the discussion.His mediation and problem solving skills are excellent.His first concern was to do his utmost best to resolve the situation to a reasonable conclusion on both sides.It is my opinion that Baran is most definitely an asset to Marsh & Parsons.

I have had multiple challenges working with this letting agent and and would not recommend them as a tenant. They look out for their landlord clients and make a pretty penny doing it. Even my landlord said their fees are high. The staff changes frequently and there was a lot of pressure for me to bid high and do a long tenancy to get a flat I ended up having to leave early as they neglected to put in a break clause which was very expensive for me and very lucrative for them. Max Davis and Roy Khan were very helpful though, but make sure you read the fine print before you sign anything as it may come back to bite you!

Arguably the worst agents in London. Don't even think of working with these people. They are nice and useful until you sign, after that they are not just useless, but will ignore you, make your life hell and purposely sabotage your peace. Also not a one person in the staff sort of thing. Disgraceful these bunch are still in business.

For various reasons, (nothing to do with the estate agents), I was unable to proceed with a sale in 2022, but continued to be in touch with Joel and this summer successfully completed the sale of my house. GoogleWe have purchased a property recently through Marsh & Parsons, Kennington branch, Sian Poynton and Joel Hughes were helping us through the whole process. From the start I can feel that their service is very processional and efficient, they not only care about seller's interest but also help buyers navigate through the whole process, Joel and Sian have helped me a lot especially at the final stage when the whole chain was trying to agree on the completion date and finalise the process, I was pretty stressful but thanks to their help all come through finally. I would highly recommend their service to buy and sell property in SE1 area and we would definitely use them in the future if we have the need

I took on Marsh And Parsons because a lovely chap called James, but then James got promoted and went somewhere else. Natahalia Camargo initially told me that a company called capital one Limited was buying my flat and didn’t advertise it, little did I know this was an Israeli company and was trying to sabotage. March and Parsons assured me this company was gonna buy my flat and didn’t advertise it for six months apparently this company was buying on behalf of Westminster Council. They did not answer any emails from my solicitor nor did they ever communicate with us all anyone else in the end, I asked them to advertise my apartment where Westminster contacted the agents and offered 30,000 less than the advertised price. I had to accept it in the end because my flat had been on with this estate agent for a year during which time I had to pay council tax electricity bills and service charges my advice to anyone is do not ever sell to Westminster Council because they will take off all the major works charges From the sale in my case it was £30,325 for an absolute piss poor job, they gave me two days notice to get all of my furniture out of the flat . Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with an estate agent. They also charged me from the initial sale instead of what I got in my hand they charge £10,278 for basically not much at all. I will never ever deal with them again and this was Maida Vale branch I honestly don’t know how these people are still in business.Whennphones calls were made to them they hardly ever called back. I once needed the keys for my flat to get in in which case I stood outside for an hour in the piping heat because it was a very hot day 38° that day to wait on Stuart Dutton to bring me the keys even though I had phoned the office about five times, he made me wait nearly an hour for my keys. I suggest you do not use this agency they will take a year to sell your house. I never call you back..

We were able to exchange on our house in record time and to complete when it suited our move, Throughout negotiations access to the agents was easy and always very professional.In particular I couldn’t recommend Harry James more; from the valuation all the way to the sale he has always been available and ready to solve any problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to sell through them.
