I have to say, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had. I’ve moved into six different properties over the past 10 years in London, and this has been by far the most disorganised process. Communication has been poor throughout, with requests for information being drip-fed instead of handled properly from the outset. Key tasks, such as the flat cleaning, were left until the last minute and not completed to an acceptable standard. Given this level of service, it’s completely inappropriate to be asking for 5-star reviews. Nothing has been delivered on time or in an efficient manner, and the overall experience has fallen well below expectations.

Top-notch tenant going back to US afer a tenancy of just under 3 years, and another American moving in the next day. Their contacts through their corporate relocation service are excellent. Very sensible weekly update conversations during the advertising/viewing process. Update: Jonathan has been a tower of strength in my difficult sale - firstly in advising me to wait whilst all the cladding was sorted and then through a protracted sale. So I recommend them for selling as well as letting - I originally posted 4 years ago and they still let my other flat, again to a top-notch tenant.

The team at KFH were amazing and saved the day! After my flat was on the market for 2 months with one of the larger big name estate agencies who only managed to secure 7 viewings in that time, I decided to find an agency more suitable for the job. Jonathan from KFH (one of 3 agencies who came to value my flat) was the only agent who turned up having done some thorough research around my flat and similar ones in the local area. He gave me photocopies of his research as well as the standard company marketing materials (which was all I got from the other agencies). So I went with KFH and Sunny (by name and nature 🙂) managed to sell my flat in just 6 days after it went live online. Brilliant! His after sale service was absolutely incredible - possibly the best customer service I have ever received in any type of after sale support. In the wake of my solicitor turning out to be very slow (delivering the exact opposite kind of customer service to Sunny) the journey to exchange and completion took months longer than expected. Sunny was available whenever I called the KFH offices to try and move things along and he was very active in pushing the sale along from his side and trying to resolve the various issues that cropped up with the solicitors. Despite the fact that dealing with my solicitor turned out to be very stressful, Sunny was more than happy to provide moral support as well as doing the necessary professional work and he played a key role in keeping my spirits up during the whole process and helping to get the sale through to exchange and completion. Over the years I have engaged almost every one of the estate agents in Islington to help with renting my flat out and also putting it on the market at different times. KFH and Sunny went well above and beyond what I expected and I’m still telling people the story of how my flat sold in just 6 days when I engaged a company that really do care about their clients, know their market and treat you with respect and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend KFH if you are selling your home and if you get Sunny as your agent I’d say that you will be guaranteed amazing service. Round of applause from both me and my girlfriend. I have just bought and moved into a flat in Kings Cross/Clerkenwell through KFH, with Sunny Barhey was looking after the sale and I could safely say, had he not been involved, I'd likely still be waiting for everything to even complete. With time limits of Christmas completion looming, Sunny was able to help navigate the seller and their solicitor, as well keep the to and fro between my solicitor on point. He was able to help get all the checks I needed through, explain and navigate some of the unusual details in the sale - as well as offer support for questions with the seller even after the sale. It was above and beyond. What's more, Sunny was backed up by Jon Clews (Director of Sales) who was able to jump in when he was unavailable. Jon was always across what was going on. This actually indicated to me foremost that they were communicating on their side, and that my sale/timings were important to them. To put it into perspective - the house I purchased had two listing agents. Sunny was able to show me in to the flat, negotiate a price, and get a memorandum of sale in place before the other even replied to my message. I was selling a house at the same time and being focused, clear and in sync seems almost unheard of in UK property sales - particularly for anyone who has been in a chain. So a big thank you from me and a high recommendation for anyone looking to purchase or sell property as they looked after me and understood how to help make a largely painful process simpler.

Added note. ⭐️😳 I had another experience with Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward in 2025, where I was cornered to be my daughter’s and her two friends guarantor. The conversation wasn’t upfront and I wasn’t impressed at all. But as my daughter wanted to rent the place and after I insisted that the other four parents signed an addendums stating that they are responsible for their own young adult child’s rent - I reluctantly agreed. No help what’s so ever from the branch manager though. Which would give this estate agent 1 ⭐️ and not 5! But I’m not changing this reviews rating, as the two young man - I dealt with in 2023, deserve the rating I gave them and only because I had an different experience later on - in 2025, that doesn’t change their character nor their work ethic and their forthright behaviour with me.

Sunny Barhey, whom I initially spoke to about a viewing, suggested I also looked at another flat he thought we'd like (and have now just exchanged on). I was very grateful as I had not spotted it in my searches, it was just what we were looking for and much nicer than the flat I initially rang up about. Sunny was very straightforward, got back to emails and text enquiries immediately and was generally very easy to work with. The purchase went through smoothly and quickly.
