Another amazing experience with KFH South Kensington. This time with Dema Salehi in the Sales. From day one till the end, she was there for us to help us with the purchase of our new home. Words cannot describe what Dema did for us. Her patience, her genuine care, the way she handled pressure and problems. She was just simply amazing! Dema, THANK YOU so much for everything you have done for us. You literally took the bull by the horns. You are a gutsy lady to be admired. Nothing is too much for you! Nishaad has been amazing with his service!!!! He always answered all my calls, all my questions and all my emails. He never let me wait or ignored me. He has always been extremely courteous and helpful. But the most important thing is that he went out of his way to accommodate a request I had which brings him on top of his league unlike other estate agents. We recently rented a flat in South Kensington through KFH. We have lived in London for over 18 years and have owned and rented properties, and thus dealt with almost every single estate agent. KFH South Kensington was superb, one of (if not) the best from our extensive experience. Laura the agent was proactive, responsive, accommodating, friendly, and a true professional. We had the same experience with her colleagues, including Dominic. I would recommend KFH South Kensington enthusiastically and without reservation!

We tried looking for properties with other agencies here and there, however, none of them were as helpful and efficient as Nishaad at KFH (South Ken). We’d actually seen quite a number of properties before working with KFH, and had been unlucky with our search. Right out the gate, Nishaad was very friendly and professional. When our first offer for a property was unsuccessful, he wasted no time finding other suitable properties and offering alternatives to us on the very same day. I cannot emphasise enough just how efficient he is! As this was our first time renting, Nishaad was very understanding and extremely helpful. He answered any questions we had, making sure that we were clear on what was going and comfortable with our choice. He understood our requirements very well and worked very hard to get us our selected property. On top of this, he was very accommodating of our busy schedules, often answering and updating us outside of his working hours. Thank you to Nishaad for all his hard work and time. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely disgusting treatment of tenants. We rented a place from KFH and about 8 months in, noticed water dripping from our ceiling. We notified KFH that there must be a leak on the roof above but they did nothing. This of course progressed into mould over the ceiling, including all over our bedroom. They eventually sent someone out who confirmed there was a leak through the flat roof above. We were using mould remover several times per week to stay as safe as we could. Despite this no action was taken for a further 2 months. They then came with the landlady to try and accuse us of “not opening the bathroom windows” and turning the extractor fan off, causing the dripping water. They got someone new (who worked for the landlady) to say there was no roof leak. We had to terminate our lease and find a new place urgently. They still had the cheek to try and charge us for repairs from the deposit, which was overruled by TDS. Avoid at all costs. KFH have no regard for their tenants, will try to cheat you and are completely disorganised.

I have only given the South Kensington branch of Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward 1 star as Google does not given the option of leaving none. We were tenants in a property managed by KFH for over a year. Towards the end of our time renting with them, we found ourselves on the receiving end of a shocking, embarrassing and damn right immoral service. In the 12 days after vacating our property we found ourselves dealing with a difficult landlord, withholding our hefty deposit for no reason, despite check in reports matching the check out. The KFH team were lazy and unproactive in chasing the landlord for a response, they would rather pass the buck than reach a solution. They claimed they hadn't heard from the landlord, despite the fact inbetween times she had time to come on here and write a review, praising their service. It was only through a stern phone call to branch management, demanding action be taken that the landlord miraculously agreed to release the deposit. This was my partner and I’s first time renting and through KFH, has been an unpleasant endeavour that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
