Our sale of a property in Surbiton was complicated by the fact that everything had to be managed from overseas. We were fortunate in being directed to John D. Wood and Co at the Surbiton branch, where we have nothing but praise for the professionalism and efficiency of Luke Dwyer and Theo Harding. There were many issues which caused delays in the process of this sale, but at all times Luke was quick to be in touch and to advise on the way forward. Although we did not meet in person, we very much appreciated his reassuring manner as we negotiated both legal and practical setbacks.

GoogleWe’ve recently purchased a property through John D. Wood with Nick, and I cannot say enough good things about them. We had been under offer on a different house the year prior with a different agency that fell apart on the day of exchange. Every step of that process had felt like pulling teeth on our end and required multiple calls and emails, so we were dreading getting under offer again. Our experience with this agency was the complete opposite: highly professional, proactive and efficient. We went from offer to exchange in 8 weeks.

GoogleWhat a breath of fresh air! Denise, Holleigh and Sarah at John D Wood have been an absolute pleasure. We had been looking for a small investment property in the area for a while. Having approached all the local agents John D Wood were really the only ones who actually listened and focused on finding what we were looking for, rather than just sending anything and everything on their books. All the way through the process the team have been highly attentive and extremely efficient. They even helped organise the changing of the locks when we completed and have recommended a builder. They really went above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and, if we ever move, I will be calling them!

She then guided me through the offers and helped me make a confident decision about who to sell to. The whole sales team was fantastic: professional, smart, and genuinely lovely to deal with. They secured a steady stream of viewings, even before the property officially went on the market. Molly and her team at the Parsons Green office were very professional, helpful and pleasant to work with. From advising on the appropriate asking price, arranging multiple viewings and securing couple of offers in the first two days of the property being on the market. They were knowledgeable and assisted in navigating a stressful process, dealing with unexpected matters that came up during the conveyancing, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend the Parsons Green office for selling a property.

The whole stressful undertaking was made easier by knowing that Sarah or Holleigh were only a phone call away with positive encouragement and ideas for getting more viewings when the expected quick sale stalled for a bit.
