TrustpilotRENTERS BEWARE
RENTERS BEWARE John D Wood is a very deceitful company. They are withholding my rental deposit after nearly 4 week’s without a satisfactory explanation. They have ignored all requests and constantly lie to me. RENTERS BEWARE

TrustpilotHad a really good experience
Had a really good experience! Ellie Bowers the estate agent I was in contact with was very nice, efficient... She showed me a few properties and really into consideration what I liked and did not liked and found me the ideal flat. Her approach was not as salesy as can be with some other estate agents. Feels like she really cares about her customers. I would highly recommend.

TrustpilotTenant changeover - handled very well
The tenants that JDW found for me in 2019 decided to leave after one year, disappointingly, but JDW (Trinity Road branch, SW18) found two people who appear to be excellent replacements, with only a 10-day void. The necessary arrangements were all made in a professional manner. I'd particularly like to single out Shoeni Oates for the excellent service and advice I've received as an inexperienced landlord.

GoogleI used this branch to let out a property. The staff have been efficient, polite and helpful. They found a tenant quickly and processed all the required paperwork efficiently and meticulously. I would definitely recommend them.
Thank you for your wonderful recommendation and 5* review! Kind regards, Scott

TrustpilotJ D WOOD Parsons Green
The Parsons Green office have been absolutely wonderful in the sale of our property in Fulham, offering excellent advice and exceptional service. Adrian and Molly in particular have been wonderful to work with - they are incredibly knowledgeable, and so supportive. Couldn’t recommend the team more highly!

TrustpilotAwful experience
Awful experience. Reached end of tenancy and despite instructions being followed and agreement with the Landlord, no return of deposit as yet. Seem incapable of resolving the issue - or do not want to do so. A sad end to the tenancy and completely unnecessary. I would recommend you look elsewhere.

GoogleI thought Faron Sutaria did a really good job when it came to selling my flat.. and Caterina in that office, went the extra mile in making sure the transaction progressed. At no point did she let it drift. I was wondering whether you needed estate agents anymore, given that everything is on Rightmove anyway.. but it turns out they can make quite a difference.

TrustpilotTerrible agents
Terrible agents, a bunch of kids who do not know what they’re doing. Awful at keeping you updated on the progress and very disorganised. You have to chase them and only to find out that something hasn’t been done or done too late thus you ending up missing out on the property! What a waste of time

TrustpilotThe worst of all
The worst of all. Penelope Leng showed me a property that is not ready to move in. And the renting price is increased when I told her that I want to rent. I don't know the company but I know the letting negotiator who made me unhappy about the whole experience.

We bought our house through John D Wood at the end of 2023. Wai, in Oxford, was brilliant and kept in touch all the way through the process.

Very unprofessional, extremely hard to get hold of when you want something done.

GoogleWe've recently leased an apartment with the help of Faron Sutaria (Old Brompton Road branch) and it has been a very good experience, not in the least because of Laura Price, the agent who advised us. She was very professional, patient, positive and went the extra mile. Faron Sutaria have a good selection of properties and know the market well.

GoogleAfter a hugely unexpected lessor cancellation on a previous flat, Faron Sutaria did a fantastic job at helping find a great flat. And on top of that they made all arrangements and finished the paperwork within three days. This really was above and beyond. And thanks especially to Laura who was my point of contact during the entire process.
