Anthony from JDM Letting was amazing throughout the whole process. He was incredibly friendly and always quick to reply to messages. Finding a home wasn’t easy at first, but Anthony made everything stress-free by constantly calling and showing us available flats until we finally found the right one. He even replied after working hours, which really showed his dedication. What stood out the most was that even after we got the flat, Anthony continued to check in with us to make sure everything was okay and that there were no issues. Extremely disappointed with this agency from start to finish. Throughout the tenancy, communication was consistently slow - responses often took days or weeks, and many reported issues were either handled late or not resolved at all. In several cases we had to chase repeatedly just to get acknowledgment, and even then the problems were left unfixed. It became clear that basic day-to-day property management was not being taken seriously. At the end of the tenancy, matters became even more frustrating. We were forced to go through the DPS to resolve deposit disputes that should never have reached that stage. The DPS ultimately found in our favour on the majority of points, confirming that our original position was reasonable and valid. This unnecessarily prolonged an already stressful process and demonstrated a failure to deal fairly or professionally with tenants. An agent’s responsibility is to manage issues promptly, act independently, and ensure disputes are handled reasonably and based on evidence. Unfortunately, none of those standards were met. I would not recommend this agency to anyone looking for a professional, responsive, or tenant-focused letting service.
