GoogleA fantastic experience from start to finish in finding a new rental property. Mark in particular was fantastically accommodating, with regularly guiding us step by step throughout the process and answering any questions both big and small promptly and professionally. GoogleI cannot recommend JDM highly enough. We were originally letting our property through another agency who were not pulling their weight. We switched to JDM a couple of years ago and we are absolutely delighted with them. They are very professional, caring and helpful and they go the extra mile to ensure everything is as it should be. They are thorough in compliance of letting a property, e.g. certification, quarterly checks on the flat, ensuring the tenants are happy, arranging for any works to be done etc. They are very quick to respond whenever needed. We recently looked at the potential of letting out our own home and once again, the professionalism shown was very much appreciated. We haven't ended up letting our home but if we had, JDM would certainly have been our choice of agent. 10/10 of ten for a super service. Incompetency at its highest level. Completely useless throughout tenancy. Won a case with property ombudsman due to their incompetence and dishonesty.
Thank you for your feedback. We thought it might be useful to give context to your recent review. As you are aware, the Ombudsman upholding your complaint was in no way due to incompetency and dishonesty on the part of jdm Estate Agents. The basis of your complaint was around the lack of parking at the property you rented. The property was never advertised as including parking, parking was not included in our original marketing material or online advert. The requirement for a parking space was not included as part of your original enquiry or formed part of your offer to rent the property. It was also not included within the tenancy agreement you signed. The Ombudsman's decision to uphold (in part) your complaint was because the landlord had not confirmed to jdm in writing that there was no parking at the property. jdm Estate Agents inherited the management of the property from another agent. There was an omission on their part to oblige the Landlord to complete a property questionnaire form which would have confirmed the parking position. The decision to uphold your complaint (in part) was not because we incorrectly marketed the property or deceived anyone but because they felt due process had not been followed. At all times jdm Estate Agents has been professional, polite and courteous and at no stage have jdm Estate Agents been incompetent or dishonest. We hope this gives some background to your complaint so that it can be understood in context. We also hope that our other reviews and our 5 star Google reviews give reassurance to the public regarding the quality of our service and the level of professionalism they can expect from jdm Estate Agents. Absolutely disgusting service. Went to view a property in which showed interest in, kept ringing the agent who showed me the property and he never returned my calls. Disappointed with the service. Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
