I had a wonderful experience using Hudsons to find a flat in central London. I was trying to find a property while based in the US, when market demand was way up and market supply was way down - and Hudsons made it happen! James was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful in showing me properties virtually, and was able to help secure me a great flat. James and Johnny were quick and resourceful helping with my move-in. Would highly recommend the Hudsons team - great properties, attentive and helpful team, and friendly and personalized service.

We cannot recommend Hudson’s Sales department highly enough. Both Simon and Spencer are the most honest and straight talking estate agents we’ve come across. None of the usual pushiness or saying anything to get commission - the team are knowledgable, honest and thoughtful - with the addition of necessary humour in sometimes stressful times! Very happy with the service from Hudsons and in particular Sabina who worked really hard to find me the type of tenants I wanted. The rental market was a bit slow so Sabina had to be creative and proactive in order to find a family who wanted a long term rental. In the end I got exactly what I wanted and would not hesitate to recommend Hudsons especially for someone with property in Fitzrovia - they really are the experts for that area of London.

Simon Bray sold our loft apartment in Soho for us. Right from the start, Simon was clear, straightforward and honest. He proposed the right asking price for our property, explaining the thinking behind the number. The team at Hudsons marketed the property effectively and we found a great buyer rapidly. At every step of the way, Simon was easy and fun to deal with, he explained exactly what was going on, he clearly knew exactly what he was doing, what the market was doing, and what our apartment could achieve for us - and all the time he ensured the process was also calm and realistic. We knew Hudsons was a smaller agency with very strong ties to, and understanding of, the Soho property market. And Simon is a complete diamond.

Hudsons Property is reputable for its professionalism and efficiency in the area. I dealt with Simon in my recent property purchase. Not only did he demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the area and the building, but he also coordinated well among all parties, including buyers, sellers, freeholds and solicitors. I was guided throughout the process and well informed of the progress. My conveyancer, who had decades of industry experience, held a high opinion of Simon because he addressed all questions in time and to his best knowledge. Simon knew even better than the seller or the seller’s solicitor about the property in certain circumstances. I have no hesitation in recommending Hudsons. Property purchase is stressful; at least I knew I was in good hands.

I rented out a very lovely flat with Hudsons but it was probably the worst choice of my life. I had booked with them on my last year in London and during the time I was doing my Bar needless to say I was already very stressed out and Hudsons made my life a living hell. They would have flat visits numerous times per week and would be very patronising everytime you wouldn’t be free. One time I was so shocked I had not agree to a visit but they still tried to open my door and come in I was in the middle of a skype interview and they really disturbed me. When we left the flat they accused us of taking some of the landlord’s stuff which we had not even touched since we moved in and charged unreasonable fees to clear out one or two things in the flat which was a mug and a cushion we left they charged us around £185 and we found that extremely unreasonable. They are very condescending on the phone and are very difficult to deal with. The landlord selfishly decided to re do the flat which took 4 days where I couldnt get access to my living room as if he couldn’t wait until out tenancy was about to end a month or so later. They did this when I was in the middle of my exams and it was something that could wait. Once they renovated they had switched all the lights to white which made the apartment look like a hospital and gave me a massive headache studying and their argument was that the landlord wanted to change the lights. He is not the one staying in the flat and I bet the tenants after us would hate them too. To conclude, we valued our privacy and that was taken away from us. Their was way too many intrusion from them and it felt like they were the tenants too. For the amount we were paying it was definitely not value for money to live their due to their horrible service.

Paul the lettings manager is fantastic . He paid me a visit and helped me propping up a heavy bad against a wall which I could not do in my own . He also came after hours to the aid of my tenant who had broken her key whilst unlocking the entrance and lent her his copy after removing the piece from the lock . When there was a problem with heating he tried to go over and help sort it out . No manager has done any if these in the past . It helped a lot giving me peace of mind that the property was in good hands

'Hudson's very good service again. Issue with bathroom tap. Emailed on a Monday evening well after office hours and a reply still came in within minutes from the efficient Christie Nguyen, Property Manager. She then contacted the contractor Even Smith who, equally efficient as always came the next morning doing a full repair. Super contractors super managing agent. Very lucky to be living in a property with service and care like this!' Really good experience with Chandni Shantilal at Hudson's Charlotte St office. A highly efficient and attentive person who follows through on everything in a timely manner and is particularly good at keeping clients informed and in the loop as things progress. a real asset to Hudson's.
