Professional team, but I lived in a grade II listed building - the front door didn’t lock properly and my flat’s door got broke in with just sheer force. I lost nearly all of my valuables in that break in. The windows had large gaps and leaked cold air for 3+ years which never got fixed. They took forever to come and measure the windows. After two measurements, nothing happened. I was afraid maybe giving them a three star was a bit low but now I’ve lived in other places with heavy door and double glazed windows, I think a tenant indeed deserve to live in safety and warmth, thus the three stars. Marylebone should have been a safe zone but my London experience got marked with trauma here. Appreciate the leasing team though, especially Poppy.

Living in Marylebone is nothing short of an absolute delight, and leasing through the HDWE Estate has been the finest residential experience I have ever had. There is something truly special about Marylebone and what HDWE has created and maintains, it possesses all the charm and warmth of a village, yet sits just a leisurely stroll away from Central London and the West End. One feels wonderfully connected to the city, yet cocooned within a lovely village. The Estate itself manages the properties with remarkable care and professionalism. Any enquiry or maintenance request is addressed promptly and with genuine attentiveness, a rarity in London, and something I appreciate enormously. Their stewardship of the area is evident in the immaculate upkeep of buildings and communal spaces. What truly elevates the experience, though, is the thoughtful collection of shops, cafés, restaurants, retailers and the village’s artisan food purveyors, plus the Sunday Farmer’s market, all creating a gentle rhythm of everyday living here. There is a warm sense of community with reassuring sense of familiarity and belonging.; you recognise faces on your walk down the High Street, and it becomes quite impossible not to feel at home. In short, living in Marylebone through HDWE has been a joy, charming, comfortable, and exceptionally well cared for. I could not recommend it more highly.

HDWE were really prompt at getting back to me with properties which matched my criteria. The whole process of getting into a rental agreement was quite painful - I blame it on the app used for the reference checks. I eventually picked up the keys on the anticipated date which was a relief. However, there was no proper check-in process and the residential pack provided wasn’t that helpful - it didn’t provide all the essential information such as utilities meters and lift access code. That was a little disappointing given that I was moving on a weekend and no one to contact until start of the week.

THE BEST! Professional and reactive. As letting agents they are very helpful and supportive. Not being on commission means they are not pushy on you and help you make an informed decision vs trying to just get you to sign. Big shout our to Alice from the team! As landlords they are highly reactive. Within 24 hours any problem in the flat has been usually sorted. Flat move has been also very seemless with them. Properties are very well taken care of.

The entire Howard de Walden Estate group is absolutely wonderful! From flat searching, to putting an offer in, and getting settled in my new flat, the team has been extremely reliable, responsive, and helpful. Poppy was incredible to work with through the flat viewings and offer - she answered all of my many questions being an expat, was extremely responsive, and is so nice! Plus, Renata was great to finalize the paperwork with and Nick has been wonderful as a property manager. The Estate group is so well organized and well run, with any small issues with my flat or building being resolved quickly and professionally. Positive experience from throughout the search and rental process. Alice was incredibly patient , helpful and transparent throughout the process, never losing hope in helping us find the right place. The experience was worlds apart from that with standard estate agents. Howard de Walden is a role model for all landlords. Professional, helpful, and both quick and easy to deal with. They helped me relocate within the estate and the process was very smooth throughout. The flats are usually in great condition, and if they’re for different reasons aren’t renovated recently this will be reflected in a lower rent. One also has to mention the superb team working there: Poppy, Renata, Jasper, and Jess, just to name a few. Very happy to be a tenant for the foreseeable future and longer.

Everyone was extremely kind and personable, and the process from setting up the initial viewing to making the offer and moving in was very straightforward.
