I would like to thank Nicole Mok for her support and assistance. She was in touch with me the whole time and tried to help. The reference process when applying to rent a property is extremely complicated, confusing and unpleasant. I was referred to different people who did not give me clarity on what was happening. They wasted our time by extending the time we could rent another property. And to date, our hold deposit has not been refunded despite the many emails I sent. I definitely do not recommend using this agency.

Hamways has been the best property management company I've rented with. Im sad not to be taking them to the next propety. The whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish. Renting was smooth and hassle-free, and their team’s professional attitude really shines through. Any repairs I've needed were dealt with quickly thanks to their easy-to-use repair portal and its clear that they actually maintain their properties more than standard rented properties I.e. my flat even had additional insulation installed in the attic before I moved in. Highly recommend.

I have been in my home now few months shy of 25 years..since my daughter was a baby! That is a long time! And I see that as a testament to both myself AND Hamways and of course my landlord and a reflection of all of our values as they relate to property. I love this house as if it were my own and it is a home. Not only a structure and everyone in the office knows this and i believe appreciates this. Hamways Ltd has been the managing agent for at least half of that if not more and they have been amazing. In 25 years so much happens in ones life from happy to sad times and through all of my life's changes they have been understanding and helpful and been a great liaison with my landlord. It is not common in London especially to find managing/letting agents (and landlords) that value tenants like me and so many are just out to make a fast and bigger buck...but Hamways and all the team I have dealt with make me feel like they really care and that is GOLD. I wish everyone at the office (especially Denise who is a star!) a very happy and peaceful 2025!

I had a very disappointing experience with Hamways Letting Agency. I made an inquiry about a property they posted on both their website and Rightmove. I called their office four times, and each time the receptionist just told me to be patient and that someone would call me back. Sadly, no one ever did. Now the property is listed as let agreed, and I feel like I was completely left out of the process. Overall, I’m really frustrated by the lack of follow-up and communication.

Hamways is an outstanding property management company to rent from; they have been excellent from start to finish. They are very responsive on behalf of the landlords having responded promptly to my requests over the years. They were excellent upon us moving out regarding deposit and other matters. They have also been clear and considerate regarding our enquiries and requests. They often consider these quite quickly and come up with good solutions to issues. They sent us a replacement cooker very quickly! Would not hesitate to recommend everyone there!

I've been renting a property from Hamways for nearly 10 years, and it's truly been a great experience. From day one, they've been responsive, professional, and easy to deal with. Anytime we had a maintenance issue or request, it was sorted quickly and without any hassle. What I really appreciate is that they’ve never been overbearing or intrusive, just respectful and reliable. Hamways has always been respectful of our space and privacy, never burdening us with unnecessary inspections or disruptions. We've always felt comfortable and at home here, and that's a big deal when renting long-term. Hamways were our landlords and managing agents for over three years and we have never experienced such excellent service before. Every repair request was dealt with within a week and when necessary, the appliances were replaced for higher spec ones. Hamways has always gone above and beyond and we have recommended them to all our friends who are currently renting. We received our entire deposit back within a couple of days of moving out and the flats are getting redecorated between every rental which is incredible service considering the usual lack of service and cleanliness we were used to when renting other properties in London. Having just vacated a property we rented through Hamways I can honestly say they have been magnificent throughout. Acquiring the property was seamless and the check in process was smooth. Special mention to Pawel who on meeting us for the key handover noticed the smoke alarms weren’t fitted. He refused to complete it until alarms had been fitted for our safety. He made some phone calls and ensured this was done immediately so we always felt we were in safe hands with Hamways. Any repairs were always handled quickly and professionally. The gas safety checks etc were always taken care of on time and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. I’ll add that their check out process was the smoothest I’ve come across. It was expertly handled by Hannah and Pawel. We enjoyed the property for 2 years and only left after we bought our own home. Unlike some other places that try to be “creative” with deposit returns, Hamways noted that the property was cared for and swiftly returned the full deposit. Thank you to all the team and I would recommend Hamways wholeheartedly.

I have been with hamways for 3.5 years and they have been incredibly helpful from the moment I viewed the rental property through to my entire tenancy. The communication process is great and they provide any updates by mail and / or email. They are rapid with repairs and the team is super helpful, as are the contractors. The property I let was completely redone before I moved in and Hamways' rent prices are very good in comparison to other letting agents. Have had a great experience, 10/10 would recommend!

I rented a flat in North London via Hamways from July 2021 until this month. If I ever rented in London again I would only rent through Hamways. I experienced none of the horror that you sometimes read about from renters in London. The rent for the flat (a one bed in NW) was reasonable for the area, the response times and communication tended to be better than most managing agents / landlords I have dealt with before. All the staff I dealt with were clear and reasonable. Even when the rent increased it was fair given the prevailing interest rates. Highly recommend Hamways in London.

Hamways are faultless, since renting with them, anything outstanding in or outside my home has been dealt with quickly and effectively. Hamways enquiries team are very responsive with anything I've needed even if they don't have the answer immediately they get back to you updating you on what's being done internally with an expected date to be answered by. Fantastic Renting Experience We’ve had an excellent experience with Hamways from start to finish. They’re transparent, professional, and incredibly reliable. Any maintenance issues, like a clogged sink or a tap problem, were handled quickly, even during bank holidays. When we had an emergency and needed a locksmith, they went out of their way to send their contractor and allowed us to spread the cost over rent, which was a huge help. They communicate clearly, always give advance notice about building work, and treat tenants with respect. Renting through them has been stress-free, and we’d highly recommend them to anyone.

We have rent a flat with Hamways and everything was very beautiful at the beginning. When I comes to problems; it is hard to contact them as they do not get the phone and sometimes it seems they do not receive emails. We were told two different informations by the same person and just before we finish we found we have two pay for 10 extra days we were not aware of. Unfortunately our last time in London was not nice. They are just interested in the money; not in the tenants.

I have been a Tenant with Hamway's since the end of February 2021. From the first meeting, I had with the Lettings Manager, Christopher Sanderson (London Team) I knew I was going to receive both a professional and bespoke service. I cannot speak highly enough of the Hamway's Team, they are always quick to respond to any concerns I have, in particular their Repairs Team. Recently my Sink was blocked, and they arranged for a Drainage Engineer to come to my rented property in less than 24 hours to resolve the issue. I would strongly recommend Hamway's for anybody looking to rent a property in the London area!
