I would not recommend Hamptons. The work takes forever, and most of it is done poorly. I have people coming to my apartment every week just to fix something because nothing ever gets done properly the first time. It feels like you don’t even have control over the apartment you pay rent for, as they constantly schedule visits. On top of that, there are endless unnecessary emails asking for permission to enter, even after repeatedly explaining that we already know the process. Dealing with them is a frustrating, annoying chore, they clearly don’t care about quality or efficiency. The problems go beyond CDM Carpentry, it’s the whole management that’s disorganized and unprofessional. A complete waste of time.

After very many years as a Landlord in London I would very much like to share the truly excellent experience I enjoyed recently when using Hamptons, for the very first time, as letting agents for my Kensington flat. In particular I cannot sufficiently highly recommend Adam Baker, Assistant Head of Lettings, who handled everything so rapidly in an outstandingly professional manner and who was, despite the inevitable pressure of work at this high season time, always readily accessible by phone and available to do whatever was required to ensure all queries and paperwork were dealt with in record time and the contract details agreed to everyone's satisfaction.
