We rented a house in the UK for the first time and it was not an easy process for us. Finally, we moved into the house which was in a good condition, but things can happen. We are extremely grateful for the outstanding support provided by our property manager, Lucy Desborough from Chiswick Hamptons office. Whenever we faced problems with our rental house, a heating system or keys left inside the house, or had concerns with our landlord, Lucy was there to help. Her prompt response, effective communication, and ability to find solutions truly made a difference. Even when Lucy was not in the office, her colleagues were ready to help us. We can highly recommend their services to any tenant looking for a reliable and supportive property manager.

We used Hamptons for our house sale and were looked after by Justin Holder and his team; Emily Halpenny, Laylee Bina, and Justin (Negotiator) and Priscilla Paul. We were inundated as soon as we instructed Hamptons by competing and local Estate Agents. However, there was a clear distinction and that is the team at Hamptons. Justin Holder is honest, professional and advised on realistic financial and time based options available to us. As soon as we made the call to go ahead, Justin immediately set the wheels in motion and within less than 2 weeks we had a sale agreed. Justin’s team managed the entire process and liaised with all parties to ensure a speedy exchange and completion in record time, we had moved in to our new home 6 weeks later, and that’s with porting over a mortgage. The team were always available to talk. We are delighted and most thankful with the end outcome.

Efficient, reliable, friendly, honest and proactive. These are just a few words that can be used when describing the fantastic service that Hamptons provided. We recently sold our parent’s house with the help of Justin and the team at Hamptons. They were very sensitive to my mother’s well being in selling her home for the past 54 years. Their communication is outstanding. We were always able to contact them and if they said they would phone they did. At no point did we have to chase for updates. They never took their eye off the ball and always kept us informed as to the progress of the sale. The advice that they gave was always honest and helpful. They guided us expertly through the process. Appointments were always kept and attended on punctually. They say that buying and selling a house is one of the most stressful things in life. I can honestly say that Justin and the rest of the team at Hamptons did not add to the stress but made the whole process run as smoothly as possible. You can confidently rely on an outstanding and caring service if you chose them to be your estate agent. I highly recommend them.

Great agency, highly recommended! Justin and his team worked miracles when they sold a house for us. They found a buyer in one day just before Christmas and assisted at every step for exchange to take place in a record time and completion immediately after Christmas. I had an excellent experience with Laura Suliman from Hampton's Chiswick. From start to finish, Laura established my family's needs from the beginning and was professional throughout. I spoke to Laura at length what we needed and she helped us to view right property with efficiency. Thankfully it was the right one! The process was made easier with Laura keeping us updated at every point. She was clear about what we needed to do and made sure we, as tenants, understood what was expected of us. Any concerns of ours were dealt with promptly and Laura would come back to us with reassurance (given it was just before Xmas!). Laura was kind, patient, knowledgable and professional throughout. Sometimes with agents, it can feel like they are robots and self-gratifying. Laura was an absolute breath of fresh air and was an absolute delight to work with.

We’ve just exchanged on a property which was being sold by Oliver in the Chiswick office, and I was really pleased and impressed with how proactive he was in moving the deal forward - he not only liaised frequently with our solicitor and estate agent to check progress and chase things (and updated us every time), but also contacted OUR buyer’s solicitor at one stage to see where things were when things had slowed. As this was our first time in a chain, we really appreciated having someone so hands on, flagging anything we could do to help things move along. Oliver was also quick at contacting his clients when we raised any questions or issues, ensuring that we could get a solution and carry on. Overall I’m really glad that the vendors were using Oliver; he definitely made things easier for everyone!

Unfortunately my family and I were subject to absolutely terrible service from Charlie and his team. It started with lying about the date the property was available to get us to move faster (they gave us a move in date before the previous tenancy agreement was even over!). Were completely unresponsive once we paid a deposit on the property. Withheld keys from us until 4 days after tenancy started, although charged us rent for those four days. But worst of all just treated my family like second class citizens by giving snide responses and telling us they were too busy to respond to our emails (all after we had committed to letting a home through them). It’s a shame that humans forgot how to treat other humans with dignity. Don’t use Hamptons Chiswick for your letting needs if you expect to be treated with even an ounce of respect.
