I have rented a flat through Hamptons for years now, with the help of Georgia at Hamptons who was fantastic. My flatmate has now bought the flat. The sale was lead by Jack, who was nothing short of exceptional. He was professional, helpful, extremely patient and made the process much easier. Communication was quick, and Jack had answers to every question we had and took the time to explain things in depth as well as provide us with all information we asked for. The sale took some time due to circumstances from our end, and the Hamptons team and Jack were patient and helpful every step of the way. We absolutely couldn’t recommend an estate agent more than Hamptons and more than Jack!

Our experience of working with Hamptons could not have been better - and a special mention for Kat who managed the process amazingly from start to finish. We met with 6 estate agents before choosing Hamptons. They were professional, open, honest and in no way pushy or 'salesy' as some agents can be. They communicated clearly with us, generated the interest they said we should expect and proactively managed the process for ourselves and our buyers to the highest standard. This included additional house inspections arising from the survey. We moved rapidly through marketing, securing a preferred offer, surveys and through to completion in just over two months which worked for both ourselves and the buyers. I have recently sold my flat with Hamptons Blackheath and had great experience. They are a respectable agent with great local knowledge and a huge network throughout London and beyond. They have found a buyer pretty quickly as they promised they would and secured a very good price in comparison to other local estate agents valuations. I have mainly dealt with Kat and Joe. They were certainly on the ball and despite some big challenges and long delays (all caused by buyer's solicitors!); Kat was always on hand and kept pushing hard right up to the very last minute before the exchange finally happened. Kat was great with communication and kept all parties informed and found creative solutions when, at times, we hit the brick wall. She chased everyone and supported me when I was feeling low - this was special! We made it in the end and that was a huge relief! Thanks to Kat and the team. I bought a property through Hamptons. Kat, especially was the best property agent I’ve ever worked with. From the first time I got in touch with her to initially see a different property till the day we exchanged the contract, she was super proactive, quick in responses, checks on you for the next steps even before you ask her. She’s been so seamless in communication between me and the vendor and she’s chased all sides for me including my sales agent herself to ensure everything is lined up. Cannot recommend Kat enough to anyone considering any type of property transactions.

Unpleasant experience with them. The entire process is lengthy and inconvenient. Distress won't end if you are with them. Negligible support during tenancy, worst and super delayed tenancy deposit return process (although the landlord agreed long ago). Extremely poor communication and lack of clarity about the process, and they only respond when you nudge them to follow up on your case. Overall a 'minus' 1 star experience in terms of the service. I would recommend other capable and efficient agents if you are looking for a stress-free experience.

Me and my family were in a uncomfortable and complex situation trying to find a house with a tight deadline. We were in touch with other agents but we know how many times we are just a number for them, but Sam was the only agent who gave the right attention to our case trying to do his best to understand our needs and offer the best possibilities. Simon Humm from Hamptons Blackheath was condescending and dismissive when he came to value our flat. He gave a ridiculously-low valuation telling us that the decorations looked old-fashioned and would put buyers off. Fortunately we went with another local agent who sold our property for significantly more than Hampton's valuation and after only 6 weeks. Be careful of agents giving suspiciously low valuations. It can be a sign that they want to buy the property cheaply either for themselves or for one of their associates. I've heard this is a common trick, often targeted at the elderly and vulnerable.

I sold my house with the team at Blackheath (Jack, Joe and Claire) whilst I was relocating overseas, and I can honestly say that their help and support made the whole process possible. Aside from the usual liaising with the buyers etc, they helped arrange access for trades people, with to the house to search through the documents I left for the new owners and even moved my table and chairs outside for them to be collected by the British Heart Foundation. They were impeccable from start to finish and without their assistance the completion would not have progressed as quickly as it did. Great service from a GREAT team!

I was dealing with Alan initially who took my details ahead of passing me on to work with Sam Hawkins who oversaw the rest of the process brilliantly! Sam made every effort to ensure I could view the property quickly the next day, and was invaluable in helping us secure our offer to the landlord.
