The Haart team (particularly Wahida and Twanika who we have primarily dealt with) were really helpful and communicative throughout the whole home-buying process. We were first time buyers and had a few prior places fall through due to various issues so were a bit scarred from that, but Haart were great. There were a few hiccups along the way (as there always are!) but we have really appreciated the consistent and transparent communication which enabled issues to be resolved and ultimately led to a successful completion. My initial review was 5 stars as Leticia was helpful. But this has changed since living in the property. We were under the assumption that going to Haarts we would be living in a certain standard of property but have since been told by Haarts "that we just assume they are fine when offering them out". Our property is not fine, we were no informed that the property had not been set up for internet access (new build), the landlords had not properly arranged the bin situation (took four months to sort that), we have had issues with our electricity provider, water provider, property has not been set up for council tax. And to top it all off we assumed that Haart would be managing the property should we have any issues only for us to be ditched by them as soon as we signed the contract and left with our incompetent landlords. Not to mention some things since living here that cannot be noticed on initial viewings, surprises left by the cowboys builders who erected this sham of a building. Any preconceived opinions that you might have surrounding estate agents are probably true in this office. Oh and by the way they ask you to post a five star review after the property is given to you so 99% of these reviews will be disingenuous as people are happy to have a roof over their heads.

We were renting with the agency for 6 years, so difficult to get in touch with them. We sent dozens of emails, recorded letter to them to arrange an early release from the contract, never responded. Finally we hardly found the landlady contact details and she replied to our email to agree for an early release. Now we are trying to get our deposit back, Haart never responded although we have an email from landlady thanking us for the clean condition we left the house. We raised an complaint with the deposit scheme. Avoid at all costs, do not use them.

My husband and I could not have found better agency to get our current flat let. We love our new places. Through the whole process Leticia was transparent with us and very helpful. She was on top of our case and her response time was always kept short and she remained available whenever we needed her. She's maintained an excellent level of professionalism. We've had almost no issues since moving in (in October) and when we needed Haart to deal with some minors repairs, Katie always was very quick to respond and solve our issues. Response time to send contractors is also excellent and Katie always ensures follow up. You can go to them eyes closed. I do hope we will remain with them for a long time. I have had many issues with terrible agencies in the past and was fearful of having to go through an agency again but Haart in Walthamstow has brought my faith back into the letting process!
