All was fine until three days before move-in, when serious inconsistencies in the marketing of our property began to emerge. At that point, GLP suddenly provided new and conflicting information that highlighted a clear lack of transparency and, in our experience, a serious failure to communicate effectively with the landlord/property managers.

Advice tailored to me, instead of a sales pitch

I got advice from Rob from GLP on a property sale, where I already had a buyer lined up through my own personal contact. I was a bit hesitant obviously to tell him that, because I expected he would try to sell me their services. The conversation was genuinely the opposite of what I feared from an estate agent. He was very frank and open about the market at the moment, did some research on my flat so was able to give me some helpful specific info, instead of talking in generalities. There was no pressure or promises. Instead of feeling like a sales conversation trying to sign up a client, it felt more like discussing with a professional who was considering my personal situation and problem solving with me. Very helpful and constructive, and his advice was worth thousands for me in the end, unfortunately without him earning a single penny... I definitely owe him a pint!

Marcus and Jessica made our move into the new home a smooth and enjoyable experience. We found a flat we loved, and with Marcus’s support we were able to make an offer on the spot, which was quickly accepted. Throughout the process, they kept us well informed about all the property formalities and were always helpful and flexible as we prepared for the move. On the day we collected our keys, they even welcomed us in from the heavy rain! Needless to say we are over the moon on our new flat!

Extremely Helpful Agent!

We are frequently in touch with GLP and notably Razieh Hadian from the Soho office who has been immensely helping in providing us with expert industry knowledge. I have worked closely with Razieh and have found her to be very personable to our needs, extremely professional and very informative regarding the ongoing saga that is the Renters Right Bill. The literature GLP can provide on such matters is extremely well received, however what has pleased me is the ability of their team, notably Razieh, to explain the situation a little more clearly to landlords in simple, yet informative terms and offer guidance on how the relevant changes can affect our small portfolio. He clearly knows the market well and quickly sold me on my current flat. He went above and beyond and let me visit the flat a second time after signing so I could take measurements and prepare for the move, it made the moving experience so much less stressful.

I dealt with Megan from GLP for a property that I have been renting out for years with several agents. I can honestly say she was the most thorough person I have ever dealt with. In the first visit she immediately spotted and reported back to me on even small details of maintenance that was needed, that other agents I know would not have spotted. She was also very clear, open and realistic on the rent level, the tenants I could expect etc, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

As an expat, relocating to London from the US, I had prepared myself for my flat hunt to be a daunting experience. With a short timeframe, and specific budget, I knew it might be a challenge, but that was not at all my experience! From the moment I reached out to Razieh Hadian at Greater London Properties (which was late one evening) her engagement and responsiveness was on point! She was able to confirm a viewing for me the very next morning and met me at the flat to walk through and get a better understanding of what I was looking for. Razieh was attentive, asked the right questions, and provided sound guidance that ultimately led me to making the best decision for me and putting in an offer. She stayed on top of the offer process and guided me through so wonderfully, especially given that this was my first letting experience in a new country. Once my offer was accepted, the office picked up the application process and everything went so smoothly. Honestly, it was the best experience and as I told them when stopped by the office “I had prepared myself for the letting process to really be challenging but they made it such a smooth and easy process”! I will 100% be working with Razieh and the Greater London Properties Team again for my future needs. Thank you for everything, you made my big transition to a new country a lot easier!

Be careful

Be careful, they seem like they like to steal holding deposits, deny you, then swap your deposit into another property to force a dispute from the banking side to make the bank responsible for paying you back in order for them to keep your deposit and the property. A very slimey scheme.
