We started our property search as first time buyers with Alex. He quickly identified what we liked in terms of properties. Unfortunately, we missed the property we offered on and chose to go ahead with another one but throughout this whole process, he was really helpful and understanding. He was honest and allowed us to form our own opinions instead of heavily selling a house we didn’t want. We regret that the house we found with Alex didn’t go through as we would have loved to continue working with him.

We recently finished a 4 year let with Foxtons. There was zero personal human experience with them, and when it came to letting out our flat again all of the different foxtons branches were competing against eachother so we were messaged all different things regarding viewings. The staff don't talk to each other well and communication is generally awful. When we needed help with getting our deposit we had no answer from the agents and just an automated response, had to chase. We are planning on buying soon and 100% will not be going with this awfully insincere company. Gives the estate agent stereotype some backbone.

We were looked after by Alex Hudson to purchase our first flat and he was brilliant! We had a very tricky period with the current tenants not moving out, delaying the move by nearly 2 months. Alex showed he really cared throughout, great communication, always chasing any follow up and looking for solutions. He was a calming influence, always offering great advice and very professional. Can't say enough good things about our experience with Alex and would thoroughly recommended him to anyone looking to buy around the area. Anna Oldbury was a delight to work with throughout the whole buying journey. She was very soft in her approach, which was very refreshing (unlike other estate agents I had come across, pushing for a hard sell), kind and knowledgeable. Anna was attentive and really understood my needs and wants, resulting in me finding the perfect new home. I’m a landlord and Foxtons lettings team was great but we are also paying them for property management service and it is the most shocking non-existent service ever. Eleanor is non responsive. I’ve been fobbed off so many times and then told to log issues on my app (which doesn’t work), as foxtons are too busy to answer calls and emails. Avoid at all costs. Can’t get my money back either so paying 2years for a service which… doesn’t exist. Is there a word for this?

Gurjeevan was rude, dismissive and manipulative, calling me names and telling me to talk to my husband when he didn't like my decisions. Because of him, I'd never use Foxtons again

STAY AWAY!! I first put my property on rent with foxtons. the manager at the Margot told me as this was the second property I was letting with Foxtons there would be no charges for 6months. This was a tactic to get my business as when the tenant was found they only wanted a 6 month let. I was told the next tenancy the discount would be applied. However, when the time arrived Margot stopped responding and then I was told that the deal was finished and they could not uphold this. As they ( Charlie) found tenants I went to foxtons again, big mistake. The tenants were awful and Foxtons did not help at all. Once Foxtons took over £5k for their fees from the rent they did nothing to help the situation with the tenants. The tenants then tried to place legal action based on misrepresentation of the property that Foxtons advertised. When I alerted Foxtons , Foxtons have tried to put the blame back on myself. I have asked for the managers details 3 time via email but still do not get it. I have request a SAR so awaiting this as Foxtons has said I did not inform them that the roof was not demised the flat ( which I did numerous times). All I have asked Foxtons for was to refund me the fees from now til the end of the tenancy so the tenants can leave ( as this is their preference) but Foxtons refuse. Honestly stay away.

I would strongly advise to steer well clear of anything related to Foxtons (which I myself will be doing). We were looking to rent a property and found the ideal place which was being marketed by Foxtons. Foxtons operate on the basis of terrible communication and lots of pressure and frankly total unprofessionalism. We were contacted at 1pm on a Weds and told there were two offers on the table, both so similar that the landlord couldn't decide. So to decide, the best thing Foxtons could think of was to send both offerors the tenancy agreement at 3pm and whoever signed it and paid the deposit first would get the property. No chance to review the tenancy agreement first of course (despite it resulting in an obligation to pay several thousand pounds a month in rent). I suggested the obvious solution would be to do one final round of offers to see if either party could improve but was told this wasn't possible as we'd already done "best and finals" - news to me, as I'd so far made a first offer. I even made a higher offer there and then on the phone to secure the property but was told this wasn't possible. In the end, the other offeror signed and paid within 9mins (good luck to them) and I missed out but felt a huge sense of relief and with hindsight am very glad. Totally unprofessional to operate in such a way and to leave easy money on the table. Other landlords should take note.

I was very lucky to go to Foxtons and deal with Konrad Kruk and Rupert Dickinson. Professional, supportive, patient and helpful. I have a dog so this is even harder to find an Agent who would say: No problem, we shall find you exactly what you are looking for. And this is what I heard from Konrad, and what he and Rupert actually did. Everything went smooth, simple and stress-less, especially comparing to other agents I was dealing with in the past. I have had an excellent experience finding a property through Foxtons. Shaun Walker has been great the whole way through, he spent an evening showing us a number of great properties, advised us on how best to go about securing the property we wanted and since putting an offer on the property, had been amazing at keeping us up to date with the process. I have had bad luck with past estate agents and agencies but so far Foxtons and Shaun have been great. I highly recommend finding your new home through Shaun.
