I moved to a London with very little knowledge about the area and stayed in an Airbnb while I searched for a long-term flat for my family and me. Fortunately, I met Larisa from Foxtons early on in my search. Larisa made note of my search criteria and regularly scheduled viewing, sent me videos of flats, and alerted me of new postings. This was a HUGE help as I went about my search. As a stranger to London, I immediately felt like I had someone in my corner. While Larisa regularly sent me listings, she also wouldn’t hesitate to give honest feedback if a flat wasn’t a fit for my family which I really appreciated. She was looking to facilitate a good match for both the landlord and me as the prospective tenants. I definitely recommend Foxtons and working with Larisa if you get the chance! And thank you again Larisa for all of your help and kindness!

I found my flat in West Brompton thanks to Sophie from the Foxtons Earl’s Court office. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful, professional and always available to answer my questions. Sophie guided me through the entire move-in process, which can be quite challenging when relocating from abroad. I really appreciated her patience, kindness and responsiveness throughout. She made what could have been a stressful experience feel much smoother. I would highly recommend Sophie and the Earl’s Court office to anyone looking to rent in the area!

I recently had some excellent viewings with Foxtons. My agent, Jack Burns, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the area and the all the properties. He really made it a personal experience and I felt very attended to. He listened to my requirements and was able to show me properties that exactly fit my brief, as well as a few others which I might not have considered but was glad of seeing. Moreover he was always on hand if I had any questions or needed to discuss something. Couldn't recommend Jack and the team enough !

The worst agency ever to work with!!! I have started renting with Foxtons in November 2023. I have started to discover that there is a lie after lie after lie. First they sold an apartment saying: You have 2 aircons one in bedroom the other one in living room making it a perfect summer friendly space when it gets warm. (A/C were defective and my landlady told me it would cost £20,000 for them to work which she is not willing to pay). The property happens to be managed by landlord who lives on the same floor of the same building ( NIGHTMARE)!!! All of my communication with them was discussed with the landlord behind my back which resulted in me being confronted by my landlord. Complaints were not addressed properly. Came back after 2 months stating they could not find a reason for my complaint!!!! And now, CHERRY ON THE CAKE BEING THEY COMPLETELY IGNORE ME in releasing my deposit. No response for a week. Although an ADR claim has been submitted for disputed amount, the undisputed amount should be returned without any delay!!!! That’s a shameee and never again!

She always responded to emails quickly, clearly explained every step of the process, and made sure all the paperwork was completed correctly and on time. She provided all the information we needed before each stage, which made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward. What really stood out was how dedicated she was. My experience is so great .. the staff are so supportive, patient, cooperative .. they are really professional especially mr George who was the amazing person in our move in journey .. guided us with patience and kindness .. always answering and fast responder.. and finding alternatives and solutions for our inquiries .. he treated us as a one of family members and did not hesitate to follow our application on daily basis.. he has very nice taste even in choosing places and areas.. I had a great experience looking for my apartment with Foxton. I went to Foxton Earls Court office, and from the beginning, Jack Cuthbert, was very lovely. We had to search for several weeks and at each viewing, Jack remained positive and patient with my situation and requirements. In my case, I came alone from Spain, and having someone who makes you feel comfortable and helps you in addition to doing the job well is really appreciated. He was very involved in finding me an apartment, and finally, he found the perfect one for me; one amazing and modern studio in one of the best areas in London, nearby Kensington High Street, for 3 years and for a really great price. It's not easy to find something like that but he understood my necessities 100%, and he was in touch with me quickly despite having a high demand for applications at the time. Last but not least, the signing of documents was very fast. London is a very busy city, clients are always looking for efficiency, and this agency is just that. Jack made it very easy for me. I definitely recommend this agency! Thanks, Jack!

I was looking for a rental property, initially frustrated, trekking through London in search of the right place. Glad I came into contact with Jamal at the Earl’s Court branch. He was one in a million. I had seen properties through other agencies, but because Jamal was so positive and on it, I went with Foxtons. After the first meeting, Jamal could tell what was likely to suit me. He then showed me several properties, all of which were great but it was the first one he showed me that was the one. (Beware of the Foxtons managers. They’re the ones who have the potential to derail an offer!) There’s a lot of paperwork to handle but Jamal guided me through. Also, Foxtons has a sophisticated paperwork system that keeps everyone aware of what needs to happen next. Things can move very quickly in the rental market so it’s handy to have. I’m now settled in my new home, very happy indeed.

Foxtons deducted £88.77 from my deposit for an extra night’s rent, even though I returned the keys in person on the correct day and have written proof of the handover. The landlord confirmed no deductions, and a Foxtons staff member admitted their system generates invoices a day early, proving the charge was incorrect. Despite this, Foxtons kept the £88.77 and caused needless stress with their unprofessional handling of my deposit. I would not recommend renting through them. I will now be sending a formal complaint to The Property Ombudsman and Propertymark to seek damages.
