Night and day using Foxtons over my previous agent Winkworths (who were abysmal). Immediately got lots of people through the door in a tough market for London flats and shortly secured a buyer. You do pay a bit more but it is worth it for their much bigger reach, buyer network, resources and ultimately the results.

Fails information in ads, only found out at the last minute at the moment we were about the sign the paperwork. We were looking for an appartment and contacted several Foxtons offices for viewings on their listings. Some were helpful, but the one from Foxtons Pimlico & Westminster Estate Agents where highly unprofessional. Right before we signed everything (literally a few minutes away), they suddenly said "oh btw, you need to allow the landlord or agent to come visit with some people interested in buying the property for about 2-3 times a week". We already had all our documents sne dover to foxtons, including pasports, income statements etc and did the viewing and then they suddenly announce this 'detail' in their eyes right before were about to sign. I called with the manager of the office and he said he would solve the situation and call me back in 20 minutes (they had my phone number and had previously called me back on something when they still pretended everything about the property was normal). In the end, about a week later, no contact at all. We've been mislead, straight out lied to, and even the manager fails to act professionally. Maybe it's just this Foxtons Pimlico & Westminster Estate Agents office, but for us we wouldn't recommend Foxtons to anyone.NegativeProfessionalism

Previous years I have always stayed clear of estate agents and especially Foxtons. I have totally changed my mind, they have been nothing but professional, informative and extremely friendly. My flat has been let to the highest calibre of tenants, I feel I can completely trust they will treat my flat like their own home. I was not pushed to accept anything I didn’t approve of and was given enough time to make the right decision. As soon as I lost an offer with another tenant from another agent, Kinan and his team were bringing lots of potential tenants through the door. Constant updates and so much useful information, I feel I could always pick up the phone as ask any questions however big or small. Calls were always returned. A big thank you to Kinan and his fantastic team for all their hard work. They really have gone above and beyond, I’d happily recommend them.

I contacted Foxtons after having unpleasant experience dealing with a couple of "independent property agents". I had just moved to London and was still unfamiliar with the area, but Giuseppe at Foxtons kindly provided me with helpful explanations of the area while he took me around to view a couple of flats in the Victoria/Pimlico area - one of which I truly liked and I made an offer on the same day. The process all went very smoothly and the good thing was I did not feel tricked or pressured at all (which I was most concerned/cautious about after relocating from another country). I felt that I was able to make a good, well-informed decision thanks to Giuseppe.

Today (12/12/25) at around 09:30 on the M4, one of your drivers driving a Mini, registration LS73 GXC, was continuously using his mobile phone while driving and hogging the middle lane. Once he finished using his phone, his driving became even more concerning. Despite the speed being reduced to 40 mph, he began driving aggressively, flashing other drivers to move faster, and also attempted to undertake other vehicles. His behaviour was reckless and extremely dangerous. Given that this vehicle is displaying full company branding, this reflects very poorly on your business. If you employ drivers like this, it may be worth reconsidering allowing them to operate company-branded vehicles, as it presents a serious risk to public safety and your company’s reputation. I truly wish I had dash cam footage, as I would have reported this incident directly to the police. I hope this matter is taken seriously.

We used Foxtons to buy our flat - Emily was great. Very patient, engaged and went the extra mile to get things moving and done. She was easy to get hold of and very responsive. For a variety of reasons it took 6 months to complete the sale, and she stayed engaged and always helpful. After such a positive experience with Foxtons sales we chose to give the property to Foxtons to rent as well. Gareth did an amazing job - it was rented within a week at the rent we asked for (which was above market rate)! Yes, it isn't cheap but it was 100% worth the fee! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Emily, Gareth and Foxtons to anyone looking for a property!

It’s been an extremely frustrating experience from the start. I went two weeks without access to my property after my tenancy began, and only managed to get in thanks to a neighbour providing a spare key. Foxtons did nothing to resolve the issue during that time and only fixed the main building lock a month after my tenancy started. Their lack of promptness and professionalism seems to be a recurring pattern. More recently, my boiler broke, and it has now been over a week without hot water. It’s autumn, and taking cold showers isn’t exactly ideal, yet there has been no urgency shown in resolving the problem. Overall, I do not recommend Foxtons for property management or rentals. The level of service and communication has been consistently poor.

Do not recommend using Foxtons due to no responsibility taken after signing the tenancy agreement. They did not do a house check at the end of our tenancy and the new tenants moved into a dirty house. We paid for Foxton’s cleaning service but their cleaners didn’t clean due to “items blocking their way”. As a result our deposit was largely deducted by arbitrarily decided, random things like “mattress change of five hundred”, even though Foxton’s never checked the house and there was no evidence for that deduction, presumably it’s to cover the new tenants hotel costs. We still have an ongoing dispute with mydeposits, but it’s unfair for tenants who have low bargaining power to have to pay the cost of Foxtons mistake.
