My experience with Foxtons was a mixed bag. On one hand, Jodie Hanson was excellent and helped us find a new home. She guided us on everything we needed to do to ensure we didn't miss out on securing a flat we offered on, and she was always eager to find properties that suited our needs. On the other hand, our experience with Foxtons selling the flat we were living in was very disruptive. We dealt with last-minute viewing requests, movement of furniture not being properly put back (in one instance damaged), and unnecessary repeated viewings. It felt very rushed, with little consideration for us as current tenants

We just bought our first home with Foxtons Balham and couldn’t be happier with Joseph and the team from start to finish. Joseph showed us to our first property enquiry and then helped us find our preferences, budget and renovation appetite until he we found the perfect home. Definitely ask for Harvey from Foxtons Balham! As a first-time renter in the UK, I couldn’t have asked for a better agent. He was incredibly proactive, kept me updated throughout the process, and was always patient in answering my questions. He genuinely cared about helping me find the right home, and while professional, I also feel like I gained a friend in the process. just moved into my amazing new flat with my partner, we both agree that Harvey, our agent was like an angel sent down to guide us through the process of getting a flat. He took us to viewings, was always just a call or text away if we had any questions which he always answered with a smile on his face. I’d like to share my experience with Foxtons Balham, in particular with Jack Delgado. I had booked a viewing for a house in Balham with Jac a few weeks ago. The appointment was at noon. I arrived and, besides being poorly greeted, he did not remember we had an appointment and had no idea as to which property I was meant to view. Worse than that, he then said that the property went under offer the night before, therefore wasting my time as I commuted down south to Balham. I would have appreciated some clear, professional communication. Some ideas for improvement, perhaps: he could have contacted me and informed me that the property went under offer?

Recently made contact over the past few months to view and secure a rental property. Was shown a place in Wimbledon by a young enthusiastic and a bit green Estate agent from the Balham branch. He didn’t call the tenant beforehand and unlocked the door whilst the tenant was still in the property. Fortunately, the tenant wasn’t upset or in a private situation and let us view. During the offer process there was a clear bidding war type scenario created by Victoria ‘Tor’ Lea. She was condescending, rude and probably made a fictional counter offer to play us off. She on multiple occasions told us to increase our offer which despite not doing she phoned back 4 times as it still got accepted. The second interaction which encouraged me to make this post was with ‘Angelina’ at the Wimbledon branch. She told me I would end up homeless or in temporary accommodation if I didn’t compromise whilst raising her voice on the phone. Generally advise from a place of sincerity, experience with estate agents and renting for over a decade to avoid Foxtons if you don’t want the headache of scaremongering or worse being spoken to like a child. To Foxtons, please could you address these behaviours with adequate customer service training and refining interpersonal communication skills amongst your workforce.

Zak from Foxton’s Balham was a fantastic guide when buying a house and I can’t recommend him enough! As a first time buyer, the process was daunting but Zak was so energetic and patient, answering all my questions and providing great advice.
