We had a very protracted purchase, with completion about 6 months after the offer was accepted. There was also a chain of 5 transactions. Predictably, there were a lot of moving parts. Frankly, without Debs, I don't think any of them would have gone ahead. Debs knew the property we were buying backwards, and had sold the neighbouring houses in the past, so was really well placed to give advice ranging from purchase price to interior design. We felt in incredibly good hands, both because Debs is so capable and so kind. We love our home, probably all the more so because our hands were held so reassuringly through the process of buying it. We also had a few touchpoints from the owner of the agency, Teresa, who made a proactive effort to be involved in the transaction, to reassure where possible, and to congratulate us on our successful purchase (and engagement...!). Debs and Teresa are reason alone to proceed with Finlay Brewer with total confidence: they may well be the most decent "estate agents" in London. Thank you both, and we can't wait to have you round.

I have recently rented a flat through Finlay Brewer and it was a surprisingly smooth experience for the London rental market. The team was responsive and helped me to view, offer on and finally rent my new flat. Paula was particularly helpful, with proactive email communication throughout the process that made what is the stressful process of moving flats much more relaxed. My flat is also managed by the Finlay Brewer team, and they have been prompt in booking in reliable contractors for any problems that have arisen (a welcome change from private landlords who always appear 'out of office' for routine maintenance). Highly recommended, thank you to the team for your help!

Finlay Brewer was a model landlord. Any problem whatsoever, from slight problem with a dishwasher and confusion over how to turn the central heating on to a bath leak, was dealt with within 24-hours - and always with absolute courtesy. They were flexible about any requests, supportive and understanding of all changes I wanted to make to the flat and in general made me wish I'd always rented and never owned. Everyone knows how expensive renting in London is, but when it's made this stress-free and friendly, I'd opt for it if I could. Great thought had been taken with the flat too so there was plenty of wardrobe space, a well-appointed kitchen and so on. I can't recommend them more highly - nothing was ever a problem.

I cannot recommend Debs from Finlay Brewer highly enough. From the very first viewing of the house I ended up buying, she was an absolute star. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and informative, clearly an expert in her field, but she also brings a warmth, humour, and genuine enthusiasm that made the whole process so much more enjoyable than I ever expected. Debs went above and beyond at every step, answering every question with clarity and patience, and often anticipating what I might need before I even asked. My recent experience with Finlay Brewer Estate Agents was disappointing, to say the least. The service overall was far from professional. There was a clear failure to pass on crucial information before completion. What stood out the most, however, was the attitude of some of the staff, which frankly came across as stuck up. A lot of them come off as cold, rude, and intimidating which made the entire process feel more difficult than it needed to be. When dealing with such a significant transaction, a bit of empathy can go a long way, unfortunately, this was sorely lacking. If you’ve ever wondered why estate agents are stereotyped as un-intelligent, dim or out of touch, the staff here can provide perfect examples.

Moving is a daunting experience no matter how many times you do it. So many agencies asked after our financial tax returns before we even spoke of what I was looking for; before even meeting! I thought the world had no scruples left until I met Amin from Finlay Brewer! Not only had I met someone experienced, he was kind, considerate and most importantly, he listened. No talk about financial returns, no pushy attitude and he didn't make me feel that my wants in a home were ridiculous. So calm. Second showing, he had found my family the perfect home, in the perfect location for the perfect price. Since our moving in, I've met his equally fabulous colleague (Paula) who has seamlessly helped us with a few queries during our settling in period. 2025 is fully launched in our new home! We had a wonderful experience with Paul and the team at Finlay Brewer when we sold my Mum's house recently. We had tried to sell her house twice before and my elderly Mum had changed her mind at the 11th hour, backed out, opted back in, chopped, changed, got ill and generally made the whole process a total nightmare. Bless her. Paul and the team were patience personified and finally, 3 years after we first put the place on the market, Finlay Brewer managed to sell it! Months of hard work (unpaid!) finally came to fruition and, to their eternal credit, not once did FB make us feel bad or guilty for making the process so tricky. They guided us at every turn, advised us, helped with solicitors, surveyors, electricians, gas certificates and even the purchase of Mum's new property - everything, basically. I would put my trust in them wholly and dealing with them was, quite genuinely, a joy from start to finish. If only all estate agents were like these guys!
