I came to Alex @ Equity London as a landlord with a very complicated issue after coming bruised from a former agent. Alex went over and above any agent’s duty to sort out the issues and get us back on the right track. He is transparent, hardworking and knows his industry well. Definitely a cut above the rest. Occasionally difficult to reach, we were left without a working oven for two months while they ‘worked’ on finding one for us. Completely cut. throat. when it comes to deposits and fees; We were charged a removal fee for allowing our neighbour (also renting with equity) to store a children’s bicycle in our yard among other things. Property was handed to us with the promise of a professional clean which never arrived despite our requests, ultimately assisting them in charging us a £400 ‘cleaning fee’ on check out despite the place being caked in grime when we moved in. Staff are helpful when available. Our Thanks to Callum for his help throughout our tenancy.

Alex was the one keeping everything together in our home-buying process. He didn’t just do his job, he made sure everyone else did theirs too. Chasing solicitors, following up with vendors, keeping us updated constantly, he was on it. As first-time buyers, we had no idea what we were doing and probably sent way too many emails, but he always replied within minutes, never making us feel like a bother. Without him, we’d probably still be waiting. Honestly, can’t thank him enough! Alex, You are a Star⭐️.

Alex James and Callum were very kind, helpful, patient yet where necessary and appropriate weren't afraid to be direct and plain with me, and in Alex James's words it was to help me and I don't doubt that at all. He provided useful, helpful tips when I was experiencing feelings of being overwhelmed to be calm and collected yet respectful towards our new and upcoming landlord and general other tips for how any tenant is informed of things. I'm not surprised they've got such positive, spectacular reviews. It's a family owned and run estate agency too but overall have felt greatly supported and helped throughout the referencing and anything else they were to do to help our landlord. I have no problem recommending this estate agency, they seem very well knowledged, experienced, helpful, kind, patient yet also very honest. Thank you to Alex James and Callum you've been an honour to correspond with. Anyone who can be as good with me as they have been is worth this recommendation and honest review. Edit: Point of criticism/feedback: They should make it known more clearly than expecting or asking someone to read the Ts and Cs that they're allowed to pass on your details to utility companies as it was rather stressful to discover when I had attempts from companies to set things up and emails telling me they had, the utility companies that is and I prefer to do things myself. And ask if you want them to pass on your details or not. As when I asked about that they said it's possible. Constructive intended feedback ^

I have known Alex and the team at Equity London Limited for a number of years now. The service which they provide is with great professionalism, quality, responsiveness. As a landlord Equity London have been great right from the start. Every question which I had was answered quickly and easy to understand. After the going over the process for the rental I was passed over to Callum and he was my point of contact and again he has been brilliant in finding tenants and making sure that I was kept updated with when tenants were due to move in. After Callum advised that if there was any issues with property which needed attention then Lucy who deals with the property management side will be in touch. And true to their word Lucy called to introduce herself to me and advised me on what she does and how my property will be looked after. And finally not forgetting Irene. She is absolutely great she is on top of all the accounts related questions no matter how big or small. As a landlord I could not be more happier to let my property via Equity London Limited as I know that my property is in safe hands. Ive used the company for years. They're very professional but with a supportive, inclusive touch. Excellent in fairness and attitude with both landlord and tenant alike, even placating and winning round and continuing to show respect with abusive tenants. Everything is clear and well explained and concerns readily addressed/resolved. Alex, Irene and Callam have been outstanding in their support during a very anxious time for me. Reported works are carried out fast, with excellent long term contractors being on time, efficient, clean workers. The company have very good and clear pricing strategy. We purchased our home through Equity. They provided an outstanding service from my first initial call to book the property viewing until we received the keys to our new home. Buying and selling a home was the most stressful experience however working with Alex and his team made this traumatic experience manageable. Alex regularly communicated with me on the progress of the purchase and happily liaised with our vendor and solicitor, reducing any obstacles in the process. Alex’s expertise helped us to exchange on a property within 5 week. As a buyer I always felt anxious but the team at Equity were always very honest with us making the very uncertain process of house buying easier. On the day of completion, we was greeted at our new house with a beautiful bow on the door, a generous gift box and a bottle of Prosecco to start the celebrations. I would highly recommend working with Equity as i found the team to have excellent communication, compassionate, trustworthy and always willing to go that extra mile. I can’t tell you how amazing Equity London staff are ! I had a very hard and long process for moving and the lead up to completion , with both parties solictors being rubbish! I'm highly impressed and find it hard to believe that in this current climate any company will be so compassionate and responsive like Equity. The first impression I got when I spoke to Calum and later to Alex is unbelievable. They are very professional and welcoming.
