Allan Wegeland has proved there are some estate agents out there that are actually good at their job. Until he came along and persuaded me to give him the opportunity to sell my property, I had just about lost my faith in mankind, let alone estates agents! He worked tirelessly and tenaciously to steer what turned out to be an unnecessarily complicated sale involving four sets of solicitors (was like herding cats!) through to a successful completion. He showed diplomacy and patience with all parties concerned in the sale and purchase of the property and maintained a high level of communication throughout the process, always responding promptly and proffering intelligent information when required. I’ve been searching for a place to rent for a while, and in that time I’ve dealt with quite a few letting agents. None of them came close to the experience I had with Ed Allen. Christopher Howard and his colleagues at Douglas & Gordon could not have done a better job in helping us to sell our house. At every step of the way the team were considerate and supportive. At what is inevitably a challenging time their help and guidance was invaluable. Their valuation was very accurate and they have a good feel for house prices in the area. It also helped that other Douglas & Gordon offices were able to access the listing particulars and so cast the net widely for prospective buyers. If a viewing was arranged the agent arrived so punctually that you could set your clocks by them. They were considerate about entering our house with prospective purchasers and could not have been more understanding. Christopher did a great job coordinating all aspects of the house sale and was on hand to handle any issues which came up in his usual charming and unruffled manner. I would happily recommend Christopher and his team at Douglas & Gordon to anyone considering the sale of any property in the area.

I had a great experience working with Rosie at Douglas & Gordon while searching for my flat. I moved to London from the US so it was a lengthier process validating my references and information and Rosie was great at helping me find solutions in a timely manner.
