GoogleI found the staff at Douglas and Gordon (particularly Verity and Joe) extremely professional and helpful. They helped me to sell a potentially difficult property (which was somewhat quirky, but with lots of potential), finding a well-matched buyer who was keen to take the property on. So I found the whole process was a lot less painful than I thought it would be. I would highly recommend.

GoogleD&G provide exceptional service to their clients! All staff are professional, curtious and go the extra mile. Their approach is a lot frendlier and more personal compared to other estate agents. Hattie and Verity in the Putney office have guided and supported us through a very difficult sale. Not only they managed to generate a lot more viewings than other high street agents we worked with but they also provided us with ongoing support through negotiation, exchange and completion. We highly recommend their services, especially in a difficult market.

GoogleThe team at D&G did an outstanding job on the sale process, led by Nick and his relentless colleagues Lily, Ella and Tom. They managed to get over 20 viewings in a few weeks and achieved a strong outcome. I found that impressive, especially during a covid lockdown. GoogleI contacted Sophie Thomson for a valuation on a flat which I wished to let. She arranged a viewing visit promptly at which she discussed all the options with me, and did not try to push me into any decision. I felt confident in her advice and professionalism. As a result I have appointed Douglas and Gordon to market the flat for letting. All the paperwork was executed very promptly and Sophie has done everything she can to ensure that the property can be marketed without delay.

GoogleD&G supported my wife and I in the sale of our 2 bed flat on Southfields Road, Wandsworth, London. We tried multiple agents before using D&G, and I’ll be honest we passed on D&G when listing first time around given the price is a little higher. This was a huge error on my part. You get what you pay for. Within 2 weeks of listing with them, they had two high quality offers for us, something other agents didn’t get close to. This wasn’t luck. They talked to us about the type of buyer they’d find us, and our buyer (and multiple other viewings) were introduced through their network, not through the search websites. During the listing period they kept us up to date with useful feedback on a daily basis from the agent who had actually done the viewing (not someone in the office with some poorly relayed notes), and second viewings were treated with immense care attended by senior staff. Between offer and exchange they were always available and supportive, Nick Darragh in particular - who was instrumental in getting our exchange over the line considering some challenging lawyers in the chain. This included multiple interventions on the day of exchange even though he was on annual leave returning to Ireland for the holidays. My wife and I have a young daughter and we’ve been trying to move her to a family home out of the city for months and months - after two collapsed chains and multiple agents we were close to giving up. D&G made this happen for us, and more than that they genuinely cared. Nick called me from Ireland just to say congratulations. I cannot recommend D&G highly enough. We wouldn’t have had an offer without them, we probably wouldn’t have exchanged without them, and we wouldn’t be moving our daughter to her family home on Friday without them. Worth every penny and more. Can’t thank them enough. List with this office. Tom & Kat

GoogleI have just sold my property through D&G. The service and communication were excellent. Lots of enthusiasm from all the sales team to achieve a sell. I was previously with another agent for a number of months and the difference in service and especially communication from D&G was noticeable and far superior. I believe if I had been with D&G when I first put my property on the market, I would have sold months back. I would not hesitate to use them again.
