I had an incredibly positive experience working with my agent, Daniella. She was fantastic in helping me find and secure my new place in record time. I had a really tight deadline to move in less than 10 days from when I inquired, and she not only organised viewings quickly but also kept me in the loop every step of the way. Her communication was just top-notch, and she was super responsive to all of my messages and helped ease the stress of it all, especially since I was new around town! Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a smoother process or a more diligent agent. Also shout to Dom for expediting the process too! If you’re looking to rent I highly recommend Daniella!

Nicole was excellent throughout our flat search, consistently proactive, commercially sharp and highly professional, keeping the process moving and making everything as smooth as possible on her side; while some elements of Dexters’ internal process made the experience more difficult than necessary, none of this reflects on Nicole, who was outstanding throughout and deserves full recognition for the way she managed the process.

Piers was an absolute pleasure to work with during my property search. He was super professional, friendly, and helpful every step of the way. The properties he suggested for viewings were spot-on and really fit what I was looking for. He gave great advice and insights and never made me feel pressured to make a quick decision and rent, which I really appreciated. He was also super flexible and accommodating, making the whole process so much easier. I would highly recommend Piers to anyone searching for a property.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’ve never met a team of agents who purposefully make the moving process harder. Martina is a delight, ask her questions or converse with her and you’ll be met with a condescending tone, in writing and on the phone. They charge you extortionate ‘agent’ fees that they refuse to fully disclose when asked and even the basics like getting them to use the correct emails to receive important updates during the move is a mission. You can speak to someone on the phone or via email, yet after you ask countless times to update information they (phoebe) will gaslight you saying ‘it’s not on record’. Even though I’ve been directly on the phone with her regarding this matter. It’s laughable the money you pay them for their ‘service’.

I just arrived in London 1 month ago and tried to reach several agencies to find a flat. To be honest everything was being a nightmare until I found Bella Carco from Dexters. In the first day I met her in Dexters she booked me 4 visits for the same day (for a pet friendly apartment which is a big bottleneck). She was the most professional and nice person I found in all agencies. Not only she was super helpful, fast (which is very important) but also she replies on time, get the best contract for both parties and she is always available providing constant feedback. She explained to me everything about the contract, the market overall and the details I should be aware of. Dexters is very well represented by Bella Carco. I recently moved into a flat managed by this agency, and my experience has been quite frustrating. Upon moving in, we discovered several issues within the flat, which we documented with photos. There was no welcome package or instructions provided, especially regarding the boiler. On our first night, we smelled something burning from the boiler, so we had to turn it off. When we tried to use it again the next day, it started smoking. Since it was the weekend, I contacted a man who said he was a friend of the landlord; this contact was provided by the agency. This man was not willing to help and kept telling me to speak to the concierge, who is not responsible for issues within the flat. After insisting, this man eventually found someone to check the boiler. Although it has now been fixed and we have hot water again, the initial lack of proper checks before we moved in and the poor response to our concerns were extremely disappointing. However, I have been contacted by the Director, who has shown empathy and is keen to help resolve these issues. I appreciate the effort and responsiveness, and I hope this review helps the agency improve their services for future tenants.

I had a wonderful experience working with Codie Proud at Dexter's. On my second day living in London, I called Dexter's and Codie immediately set up a showing that day. I fell in love with the first place I saw, and she was kind and patient enough to answer all of my rudimentary questions about life as a renter in London (deposits, utilities, council tax, the whole lot). When writing my offer to the landlord, she helped me ensure I was submitting something competitive to give me the best chance. As an American expat, finding a flat was the piece of my move I was most nervous about and Codie made it incredibly easy - I had a signed contract 48 hours after arriving in London (my coworkers though I was joking when I told them that). To top it all off, she even offered to go back to the flat just to measure the bed so I know what size linens to buy...Codie is a gem!

My partner and I had a great experience with Dexters during our property search, and this was entirely thanks to our letting consultant, Piers O'Connor, who was personable, polite, punctual throughout the process. One of the things we appreciated most was that Piers never rushed us. It was important to us that we had the time and space to really consider the properties we viewed, and Piers made sure we never felt pressured. He also gave us the time we needed after viewings to make decisions, which was a refreshing change from the rush tactics used by some other letting agents. It felt like a partnership throughout. Rather than someone telling us what you should do, we were given the information we needed and empowered to make decisions that made sense for our situation. Piers understood that we weren’t just looking for a property, but a home where we could create lasting memories. We can’t thank him enough for being such a support and source of knowledge for us!
