Dear all, I would like to share with you my experience in trying to find a new house. I have started the search at the beginning of February. I must say that it was challenging because my situation was peculiar and I faced several refusals of my offers. After 2 months of searching and being tired of viewings, I found a nice house and the property was managed by Dexter. In less than 2 days I had a new home and all thanks to Daniel the manager and Jourdain the agent. I must say that before I was dealing with several other agencies, but nobody was able to understand the advantages of my offer or willing to help me. I thought that I would be forced to look for a sharing solution which was my worse nightmare. But a big company like Dexter, with experienced people managed to get a house for me.

Daniel and his team were first class. They promptly answered all my queries, were kind, helpful and professional. Daniel listened to my brief on the type of tenant I wanted, respected that and took the time to find the right family. They showed many prospective tenants around my property and I could trust their judgement when giving me feedback. This was refreshing in a market where agents are known for getting any tenant into a property quickly without really listening to the landlord.

We are renting the flat managed by this branch. Jourdain was really great when looking for place to live. He was really polite, helpful and professional, help us to rent the property quickly and with no stress. Milos is definitely an asset to the company. The house was inspected by him lately and he was really helpful in sorting some of the issues. He work quick and efficient and he's really friendly and understanding. I'll recommend this branch to anyine looking for the house in the area.

We dealt with Sabrina in lettings and she was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Very professional service and we would happily use the agency again. Edit (March 2018) Dexters were very good and efficient with us when we initially were moving in. However since then I have found their follow up service poor. I had a phone call from a gentleman from this branch when we we're trying to sort out a leak coming from the upstairs flat (also managed by dexters) and he was quite rude and dismissive of me. He talked down to me and told me I was wrong as it wasn't anything to do with their upstairs flat (it was...) There have also been occasions where they were meant to organise repair men coming in and it just never happened- our landlord had to chase them to get anything done I think their initial service was good but everything since has been disappointing.. I'm hindsight I don't think we'd chose to use them again..

Myself, my girlfriend and our flatmate were looking for a place to rent after getting notice on our current property as it was sold by the current owners. We were in contact with a lot of estate agents but none provided the level of service that Michael in lettings did. He did his utmost to find us a place as felt like the only estate agent that cared about or needs, rather than the usual ‘take it or leave it’ attitude of others. Usually it's all about the landlord, but not in this case, and we really appreciated that. In the end, we had to split into two properties with a different agency for reasons that couldn't be helped but the level of service, care and professionalism that Michael dealt with us with left us feeling extremely good about Dexters and will definitely return next year when we are looking to buy a home in the area because of him. Highly recommend Dexters.
