Excellent and friendly communication (our agent was Sophia) throughout the entire process of the purchase of our new house from being flexible with viewings to getting our offer accepted. Once the offer was accepted, Sandra was then fully involved in managing the process to get us to exchange / completion and she was excellent in moving everything along with the seller and solicitors. Sandra added real value and was a pleasure to deal with. We can’t thank her and the team enough.

We reached out to James because we were having issues with our letting agent from another agency. We had been feeling very disillusioned and frustrated as landlords. James was patient with us and restored our faith in letting agents. He supported our tenant and us as we navigated transferring over to Dexters. He found new tenants quickly. What can about the staff at Dexters. I thought I was in for a long drawn out process, when I decided to sell my house. To my surprise the staff at Dexters really pulled out all the stops. Not only did they get me a quick sale at full asking price, but the sale went through quickly and smoothly. Tali and Sophia were always on hand to guide me through the selling process. I would highly recommend the team at Dexters.

A bit of learning experience for us. Even though I'm retired building control officer - its been my first viewing for private rent. I can say with all sincerity Ashon seemed really confident that the flat he was proposing for me would fit my needs and I was immediately excited hearing the description of this new conversion. I show a picture of the building below - with Ashon showing the property to another prospective tenant, which was completely coincidental that he was in the picture- which shows off the building well on a nice day that was an exciting day for me. This was the day I got the keys which he needed to explain as my chosen flat had two doors into it. This fact confirmed to me as a building control officer that the developer had not only got building control approval, but designed an exreemly innovotive way design and solution to avoid those dreaded door closers, that many people take off anyway. So this flat is better for fire escape safety too. This visit to pick up the keys was immediately after the one when I made my offer. The development consisted of three flats and Ashon allowed me to concider there and then - all three.That was over a period of 40 minutes including time to view them more than once as knew I was intending to suggest an offer there and then. He also allowed me to be curious about the garden which was part of a garden flat already let. He said he would talk with the developers for them to consider my offer. Thankfully it was successful without any further ado - which is a really good sign for me affirming my decision. I think I owed him a good review for his hard work. He also had a suttle dry sence of humour. On the first day I met him at the Dexters office he had to leave me to carry out another visit. That was because I was over a half hour late. His line manager was the only one to complete the discussion. And Ashon said " I leave you in capable hands" I'm not sure I remember exactly. I think it shows he has relaxed attitude with his superiors. He told me they have a female Director and I could tell in the way he spoke of her that he's respectful too.

Misrepresented the property being sold as Share of Freehold, instead it is a leasehold. Apologized and claimed they can only act on behalf of the information from the seller. Property has been relisted with the same Share of Freehold information, this leads me to believe it wasn't an error but conscious deception. Be very careful using them as they have no qualms using poor business practices to secure a sale. I'd recommend using anyone else both from a buying and selling position.

Righto! * When moving out of a rental property, Dexters were a pain in the backside. A couple of days after letting the landlord know, they were round to size up the place and were like sharks that had smelt blood, wondering out loud how much they can rinse out of the next unfortunate tennant in rent. I received a text message the next morning saying there were 3 viewings booked in for that day, which I hadn't agreed to. It was a time consuming battle to make them understand and respect that whilst we were moving out in a couple of months it is still our home, and we are ones who will tell Dexters suitable times for viewings and not the other way around. They put the flat back on the market at a whopping 25% increase to what we had been paying, and we had only been there for just over a year. Obviously this would be in conjunction with the landlord, but seeing how they operate first hand and knowing the landlord from our interactions, I'd say that its highly likely Dexters were the driving force behind the huge rent increase. Its estate agents like this that are making the housing crisis worse and leaving people with less disposable income and quality of life. I guess if you are a landlord these guys are great becuase they will charge tenants sky high rents, but just remember it's also on your conscience that you are creaming working individuals out of higher than necessary percentages of their take home pay. If you are a prospective tenant, I would steer well clear.
