GoogleVery unprofessional experience with Dexters Acton. Total waste of time! I've just relocated to London, and it's the first letting agency we've ever worked with. At first, everything was fine...until we've successfully placed our holding deposit and finished our reference checks. The referencing agent informed us to communicate with our letting agent, Lara-Rose Elsi. So we called and emailed her for a status update. However, we haven't got any replies since then - not even from her colleagues - NO FOLLOW-UPS AT ALL! After one week or two, another Dexters agent got back to me. He said Lara was not around (again!), and the landlord decided not to rent us the property one week before (what?). We were in total shock. Why didn't they tell me right away? Why didn't they have any official or written confirmation? They simply left me there waiting and wasting my time! I could have started looking for other properties much earlier if they told me the landlord had decided to pull out! I don't understand why a "professional" letting agency can operate like this. It's okay for an agent not feeling well or takes a week off - it's totally fine and I understand that - I just don't see why they have poor communication, and they simply don't have other staff members to follow up with my case when the original agent is not available. GoogleWell what can I say, we had been searching for quite some months for a property to rent. Found one with Dexters, requested a viewing, that was sorted for the next few days. The property was perfect. We put in our application and within a few days we were contacted saying the property was ours. From start to finish I can’t fault them in anyway whatsoever. Farah and Jimmy have been outstanding. Thank you for all your help.

GoogleIt was an absolutely a great experience and support which we got from Dexters Acton Estate Agent. Specially from Lara Rose Elsi, she working as a Manager. We were looking for the right property since many days but it was difficult to find one which meets our requirements like easy to commute, Good location, surrounded by parks and of course safety. Finally we found one with the help of Lara Rose Elsi. Even though our move in date is 50 days ahead but we got what we wanted. A special thanks for Dexters Acton Estate Agents for helping us finding a good property and helping us in understanding and knowing the process easily. GoogleRapidly losing faith! Having been a client of Dexters for around 15 years I’ve seen the quality go down substantially in the last year. After a disagreement with Jimmy D who was extremely arrogant and rude, I was told by his manager things would improve. Sadly calls aren’t returned and money outstanding has to be chased. So there is sparse evidence of this. While they have found me very good tenants over the years, personally I will now look forward to bringing the relationship to an end. Avoid if you’re looking to let a property. They can’t get the basics right.

GoogleFound our ideal home but due to unfortunate event we were unable to move in, although it was a very stressful time, Charmaine really supported us all the way to the end and managed to reach a good deal with said landlord for the property. She is the definition of hard work and resilience and she deserves a raise!!!
