Dexters Lettings and in particular Nikki Harris, our Lettings Team Manager, has been so so helpful in the on-going management of the property lettings. Always quick to respond to any questions / queries raised, keeping us advised of any issues arising and, as importantly, what is forthcoming as tenancies and the requirements surrounding change over time, etc. I feel extremely fortunate to have Nikki looking after things and want to mention in particular her recent never-give-up efforts in taking on and resolving council tax queries - or better described chaos - with a particular London Council!! I had such a wonderful experience with Dexters and can’t thank the team enough for helping me make my move happen so smoothly! A special mention to George, who took the time to really understand what I was looking for. I had just recently gotten married and needed a spacious place suitable for both of us, and he found the perfect home that ticked every box. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made the whole process so much easier. Ashley was equally fantastic, kindly arranging for us to view the property again before confirming everything. She was patient, accommodating, and made sure we felt confident with our decision. Our experience with this letting agency over the past two and a half years has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. From the start, they are overly friendly and attentive to secure your signature. Once you are officially their client, you are passed from one team member to another, with no accountability and no one ever taking real responsibility for your case. Communication is poor, inconsistent, and exhausting. Despite charging management fees, they provide very little actual support. One particularly unfair practice is their automatic charging for “professional cleaning”, even when the property is cleaned thoroughly before move-out. What makes this even worse is that the property was handed over to us in a very poor and dirty condition when we moved in, yet this is completely ignored when it comes to the deposit. They make empty promises, demand full compliance from tenants, and then behave very differently when it is time for them to return money. Deposit deductions are made without consultation or proper explanation, with questionable or exaggerated reasons added simply to justify paying back less. If you choose to work with this agency, be prepared to be passed around internally, ignored when it matters, and faced with unexpected deductions from your deposit. This has been a thoroughly disappointing experience, and I would never recommend this agency to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Utterly dissapointed After initially writting a good review for their rental process, 2 years later I believe I was blinded by false promises. At first everything was good, they were responding quickly, but that ended when we paid our deposit and first rent. From there on we needed to be the ones calling them to learn about important information. Speaking about the deposit, after we paid early separation fee and closed our accounts, we were told that we would receive the money in 10 working days. I had to call them and ask daily what was happening, but apparantly the person in charge was on Holiday and there is no one else to do the job. Furthermore, apparantly for a 1 bedroom flat its between £200 and £300. The deposit came in later than expected, in the end it was more than 20 days and even then it was not in full, there is money missing. Supposedly, the deposit is held with a third party, but we got sent the money from their account and not the third party, thus not receiving a proper statement for deductions. Currently awaiting for the rest of our funds to be returned
