Leaks and flood in Dexter managed new built flats at Oaklands Rise NW10 near Willesden Junction

Dexters manage the private new flats that were built for hundreds of tenants at the site next to the HS2 in the Willesden Junction area, called Oaklands Rise. The flats have serious building error issues. A considerable amount of flats are leaking. Flat 37 has been flooded for the 2nd time. The move in date was in January, and the 2 floodings happened within less than 8 weeks. A drainage pipe burst. This was repaired. Now the flat is flooded again. This happened yesterday and meant a sleep in the car. Flat 37 is uninhabitable now. As tenants have reported, there are many leaks in Ambrose House (and in the other buildings as well). 2 guys on the 9th floor had their blind fall off because the wall is damp. Also someone on the 4th floor reported an issue. As I write this, another tenant reported that the lifts at Easton House broke down again, they seem to be working now. The tenants who are with Dexters are experiencing a catastrophe without an end.

Worst Estate Agency-121A Darwin Road Follow Up

Agree with the people who had horrifying & terrible experience at the hands of Dexters that it should be reported to the Property Ombudsman. We have already started the process, the first of which is to write to their In house complaints department (It is called Customer Complaints Procedure, Given Dexters' standards we don't have much hope with this). If they do not resolve it in-house within the stipulated time then the next step is to take it to the Property Ombudsman.Their modus operandi is simple - now that they have got you signed, sealed and delivered you have to put up with whatever they throw at you. A house is a basic necessity of every human being and they are taking advantage of this very need.As posted by other people affected by Dexters, we'd like to reiterate the importance of checking every inch of the property and make sure all your concerns are addressed no matter how silly it appears (including checking with the neighbours about issues with previous tenants) because once you sign the contract they will keep throwing the rule book at you at every instance.Regarding the contract they keep chasing like clock work, if they had spent only about 10% of that time & effort in addressing customer needs every one involved would be in a happier situation.We have received a reply to our earlier post from their customer relations department to discuss this issue. We will try that as well.Will keep everyone updated about how the Customer Complaint Procedure progresses.
