Good customer service

I have recently reported a couple of issues and the property managers have responded quickly and sorted them out within a reasonable time. Staff working in the property management team and the contractors have been so far helpful, professional and friendly. One suggestion for improvemenr: having a dedicated phone line or chat, or access to an online form to report non-emergency issues.

Dexters were very professional in their approach when we began renting with them at the end of January 2018. The process took a little longer than I would have liked, as the contracts were only finalised a couple of days before we moved in, however I don't feel this is Dexters fault as I believe we were waiting on the landlord. Unfortunately, some of the things that we had asked to be fixed hadn't been fixed when we moved in. Again, I'm unsure as to who is to blame for this. Overall, a very positive experience with Dexters and I would rent with them in the future. Thanks again!

At first, our experience with Dexters was really positive. Super nice agent, easy going, approachable, it was great. Now, to say we are disappointed and frustrated would be an understatement. We were misled by our agent and are now out £720. We were left spending several days trying to get ahold of our agent to which we were left a text saying they were out of the office for the week. Beyond frustrated and disappointed with our experience with Dexters. Long story short. We were massively misled by our agent, and were left stuck and confused, told different things from different agents, etc; We feel massively misled and manipulated. UPDATE: after reaching out to a higher up, we were able to get our funds back. Despite this correction, we still had an overall very negative experience with Dexters. Agents speaking to us inappropriately and using profanity, unable to be reached when needed the most (and when it comes to moving, this is important. We ultimately had to decide to immigrate back to the US because we would have otherwise been homeless), and overall very unprofessional and seemingly manipulative behavior from this Dexters team. There are plenty of other estate agents in London, choose one of them instead.

Just as importantly he went above and beyond in helping make the process as smooth as possible, including helping us find cleaners for the move out and a contractor to help fix things before we moved. 100% would recommend.

Dexters will not care about you

We are a current tenant and have raised multiple issues with the landlord however Dexters continually give us messages that they are following up on the issue but no correspondence from there on. Issues like a broken fridge took more than 2 weeks to be sorted and we have outstanding issues that have been "followed on" for months.Dexters have shown they will align themselves with the landlord and not the tenant.

Lied and mislead

When leaving a joint tenancy, all parties spoke to Dexters, agreed everything and notice was handed in. 3 months later went back on explicit guidance to try to extract additional charges from both tenant and landlord. Staff member was unhelpful and lied about past advice given. Do not recommend working with this company.
