I dealt with an agent called Cohana Chandroo who really helped me hone my search ideas, and rather than offering random listings at my selected price-point, she listened and was able skillfully interpret my ideas and come up with a series of properties that were on the nail, totally to my liking and on line with my requirements. If Cohana is typical of other Dexters agents then it is certainly my agency of choice. Five stars, well deserved!

It was a horrid experience when I started my house hunt given- limited time to find one, sheer competition for good properties, limited options, needing something economical and a place to call HOME. All thanks to Shazia (from Dexters Hammersmith) made my house hunt smoother, a beautiful 1 bed apartment (with balcony/bathtub) in Hammersmith, within the radius of my work place (Westminster), within my budget, and arranging the move earlier as I needed. This office is nice, and Shazia is super helpful. I’m still in the middle of my search so things aren’t easy yet, especially in this market where most listings feel quite limited or already taken. But she’s been making it a lot more manageable by actually finding alternatives that I wouldn’t have seen online. She’s quick to respond and gets viewings arranged fast, which helps a lot when things move quickly. I also appreciate that she gives honest feedback on places instead of just pushing options. It’s been useful having someone like that on the process so far.

Unfortunately our experience with Dexters Property Management has been extremely disappointing from the start of our tenancy. We moved into what should have been perfect for us, that was not handed over in an acceptable condition. Multiple issues were present from day one, many of which should have been identified and resolved before a new tenancy began. Instead, we have spent the last four+ months repeatedly chasing basic maintenance, unclear timelines, and unresolved problems. The most serious ongoing issue has been damp and mould. I raised concerns about mould and humidity even at the viewing stage and was reassured there was no issue. Shortly after moving in, visible mould developed and personal belongings were damaged. Despite reporting it immediately, the issue has dragged on for months with slow progress, minimal proactive updates, and no clear accountability. What has been most frustrating throughout is the lack of ownership. Issues are passed between staff, communication is reactive, and resolution only seems to happen after multiple follow-ups from us. As tenants, we have had to spend significant time waiting for contractors, coordinating access, and what feels like managing the process ourselves. Dexters have offered small gestures such as vouchers and wine, but these do not come close to compensating for the disruption, time lost, and the stress of living with unresolved property issues for months. For a premium rent and a professional managing agent, the service level has been far below what is reasonable. I would not recommend Dexters Property Management based on our experience.

Dexters have been a very good estate agency to work with. They are a no-hype, realistic and professional agency. The entire team including Joe, Sian and Cohana have been easy to work with, and true to their word, always. Especially Cohana, who's fairly new on the team, has worked tirelessly on getting several prospective buyers through the door every week. Not only has she been prompt in keeping me posted about every viewing, but also giving me a weekly summary of all the feedback from the viewers. Most estate agents are inflexible with their timings, but Cohana has worked long hours to support late evening viewing requests from the buyers. Our daughter hired a flat on rent with the help of Dexters in London on Kings Street ,W6,9 NJ and despite vacating it on 24th December,2024 ( The rent agreement was till 7th January, 25) ,the Security Deposit has not been released till date.Response from the Landlord is Nil and emails forwarded to Dexters states ' They cannot release till the Owner gives the approval for release.Dexters last response to take some steps in this regard came on 4th instant and after that no update has been shared. We feel Dexters have a responsibility towards the Tenant too as they were involved in hiring out the flat and the Security Deposit is too with them. We implore Dexters to initiate steps for release of the Security Deposit,at the earliest.It is more than two months now.Thanks Dear Team Dexter Wanted to extend our humble gratitude to take up our concern on urgent basis, actually on War Footing and resolving it at an early date.Your action has reinforced our Faith in Dexter.With Humble Regards
