GoogleRecently I wanted to rent a house in Beckton, The lettings consultant Ashan told me that this house is free and nobody made an offer. I place a holding deposit in front of him, i fill the form in front of him., and after 2 day he told me that someone else place an offer. I would not recommend them for sure. GoogleThe worst estate agent I've ever dealt with. They let a property they knew was going to be repossessed and I was forced to move out six weeks later. The property had ongoing problems but they refused to deal with them and I got hung up on when they didn't want to speak to me. Lee, Scott and Hellana passed the buck of responsibility around constantly. They managed the property appallingly, they behaved unprofessionally and in the end had the cheek to blame the landlord, the tenants and everyone else, taking no responsibility whatsoever for their predatory, immoral, indecent actions. Their fee was astronomical and they refused to refund it despite being presented with evidence of their deliberate misconduct. The sad thing is that there is nothing tenants can do in this case but write a review warning others. I moved out of the property six weeks ago and I still haven't had my deposit back or any communication about it despite the landlord instructing them to return it in a group email. They are the worst human beings I have ever had contact with and the entire company deserves to be shut down and I do hope the law changes so they can be held accountable for being the vultures that they are, praying on tenants and landlords and bleeding them dry of their money by playing them off one another and playing the loopholes in the system, unfortunately, still protects estate agents. I would advise anyone to stay away from them, they are living off dodgy activity.
David Daniels were NEVER informed by the landlord that he was in the process of being repossessed. This was also confirmed to you via an email from the landlord himself. I find it hugely surprising that you would hold David Daniels responsible for this instead of the landlord himself, especially after he completely accepted fault for the situation! This review is completely unfair.

GoogleI have been with DD for just over a year. Having rented from previous agencies - I have found them to be excellent in comparison. The Stratford team - each and every one do a great job. They were quick to respond to any issues and always followed things through if there was a delay, going above and beyond their duty. They were senstive in their handling of any difficulties and I felt very 'safe' under their wing. I also had a lovely landlord which helps make life easy! Well done - you are an exemplary team!

GoogleBeing a landlord can be stressful at times due to the nature of the business. David Daniels has taken away all the stress of 'letting' out my properties in a professional and efficient manner. I have to mention in particular Mr Lee Correira and Mr Lee Mills. These two fine individuals have acted with integrity at all times with myself and prospective tenants. Other so called 'agents' should take notes from these two individuals who are a credit to the industry. I will and have recommended David Daniels to friends and family. Keep up the good work!

GoogleWe rented a flat through David Daniels Letting Agents in February and signed long term contract for 15 months. Not even 7 days after we moved in we got a call that we must be at home at the certain day of next week as we will have a visit from a company which will evaluate the property which literally shocked me! I asked them why they want to evaluate our flat one week after we moved in? I was assured that it is just a routine and we don’t have to be afraid of any sudden change in the contract. Believe it or not exactly 4 months after we moved in we got a letter that we must vacate the property in exactly two months. I was told that the flat was sold! From that moment everything was clear. They had known they will sell the flat before they rented it to us therefore they offered us incredibly low rent even with an additional discount. We kindly asked for refund of their agency fees as this was not fair and we have to go through expensive process of moving again. No surprise that we have never heard from them anymore. Be aware, this is not for the first time this happened, I have read another two reviews that this is their common practice. I strongly recommend to don't go with this agency and find some reliable company instead. Terrible and stressful experience! We lost £500 their fees only for 6 months of living in their flat. We have decided to take them to court because this is ridiculous - I will update this review as soon as we know more.
Hi Pavlína. I am sorry to hear about your situation but i would like to clarify the following. Firstly, we are the Stratford letting office. We have never had any dealings with yourself, you had rented previously through our office in Leyton. The landlord had contacted our sales department requesting a market appraisal on the property. This was carried out by our Sales Manager who was then informed by the landlord that he DID NOT wish for us to market the property for sale. We did not sell this property and any decision to do so is COMPLETELY the landlords decision and at his own digression. The landlord has a legal right to be able to serve notice for you to vacate at 6 months The fee's paid by you in advance are to cover the cost of referencing by a reputable referencing agency. We pay the agency to carry out these checks, hence why it is not possible to refund these fee's. These fee's I have looked at the situation and we have done nothing wrong at all. The landlord instructed us to find him a tenant which we did. Subsequently he decided that he wanted to sell the property which he has every right to do.

GoogleAs a landlord I have been very impressed by the service provided by David Daniels. From my initial enquiry through to the tenants moving in, the lettings managers (Lee Mills and Lee Correia) have been extremely responsive and accommodating. Any questions and queries that I have raised have been answered quickly and helpfully. A tenant was found for my property almost immediately after it was vacated. David Daniels handled everything which needed to be done to rent out the property, making it a very hands off and seamless process for me, which is exactly what I want from an agent. Overall I would highly recommend David Daniels as a letting agent.
