GoogleJoe has been so nice to work with whether he’s advising on the rent market or arranging viewings. I feel very comfortable asking novice questions as he is very personable and knowledgeable (even though he’s an Everton fan:P).

GoogleWent through Charlotte at DA to help us look for flats in Islington, and she was honestly been one of the best agents we've been been through, in London so far. Very friendly & really listened/took out the time to listen to all our requirements in our house hunt, & she wasn't pushy (we've had horrible experiences with others before), and very prompt in follow ups too - kept us informed through the whole way about the process which was such a relief. Would definitely recommend having Charlotte as an agent if anyone's going through David Astbury's! :)

Fake positive reviews. Amazing service until you've signed the contract and then it all falls apart. When signing the property they lie to you and say there's a staff competition to get as many 5* reviews as possible and of course you help them out as at that point they are super helpful. As soon as you sign the contract they don't reply to emails, don't answer the phone and any issues take months to resolve.

Absolute let down, avoid! Surprising to see so many good reviews.They make you place a holding deposit at the time you're making an offer but they'll go with the highest bidder anyway. It has been a hassle for me chasing for my refund on the holding deposit afterwards.Please also bear in mind that if you are from overseas, they make you pay a surcharge of £25 (which makes no sense, for what?). My understanding was that this was a bank fee but they charge you £25 plus you have to pay bank fees twice (once during the payment and once during the refund).You're basically left with peanuts on your holding deposit once you get it back.Absolutely avoid.
