Crown home buying and letting is a professional and effective agency. Here I would like to appreciate the professionalism of Kristina, who provided the best experiences of the viewing, function introducing and timely replying. I, as the tenant, have met 8 agencies before, but I can proudly say that the Crown is the best I have ever met. For example, other agencies normally reply to my messages in 3 hours or in the next working day, but Kristina can reply in 30 mins. This really makes me feel that she and the Crown are reliable. I can see that she has been doing in the property industry for a long while, and it is her professionalism that brought me the best apartment choice. Now, me and my friends are very happy and satisfied with the apartment provided by The Crown. They helped me with great efficiency to sort the curtains, furniture and hot water issues. Avoid at all costs! This so-called agency is nothing more than a den of scammers, ready to do whatever it takes to steal your hard-earned money. My roommate and I, both students from Ukraine and Belarus, arrived in London, excited but naive about the rental market. Little did we know that we were about to fall victim to the deceitful tactics of the property agent, Kristina Dabrila, and her team. From the moment we expressed interest in a flat we found online, Kristina bombarded us with calls, using her sweet voice to manipulate us into paying for the property. Prior to making the payment, she seemed helpful and caring, assuring us that she would be there for us throughout our tenancy. However, once we handed over our deposit and the exorbitant six-month rent upfront, she conveniently vanished from our lives. The first issue arose when we discovered we had no hot water in the flat. We reached out to Kristina repeatedly, begging for a resolution, but she callously ignored our pleas. It was incredibly unprofessional, heartless, and showed a complete lack of regard for our well-being. We endured texts and messages, desperately seeking a response, but to no avail. Furthermore, considering the exorbitant rent of £3,800 per month, we rightfully expected all appliances in the flat to be in working order. However, despite our countless messages and requests, it took a staggering year and a half for Kristina Dabrila and her shady team to fix something as simple as a coffee machine. This kind of negligence and disregard for basic amenities is inexcusable. Adding insult to injury, these agents had the audacity to increase the rent by a whopping 20% within just two years of our tenancy, leaving us without a stable home during our final university exams. Their complete lack of empathy and understanding towards students trying to focus on their education is beyond comprehension. As if that wasn't enough, the agents allowed the landlord to show up unannounced at our door at 22:00, while I was peacefully asleep. Such a blatant violation of privacy and disrespect for tenants is absolutely outrageous. This review merely scratches the surface of the multitude of problems we endured at the hands of these unscrupulous property agents, including countless unfulfilled promises and constant neglect of their responsibilities. They not only caused us financial stress but also took a toll on our mental health. In my next review, I will provide further details of the nightmarish experiences we had to endure, illustrating just how much damage a single fraudulent company can inflict on one's well-being. Also, attempted theft of £3625 deposit and unjustified extra charges totaling £561! 😡 My experience with this agency has been nothing short of a nightmare. After vacating the property, they made every attempt to swindle our hard-earned deposit. They claimed unrealistic damages and demanded outrageous fees for minor issues that were either non-existent or easily fixable. For instance, they had the audacity to charge us a whopping £300 for a missing sticky bell, which we later found out costs only £3 per large pack on Amazon! 🛎️ Similarly, they insisted on charging £620 for cleaning, even though we had hired a professional team to clean the place not once, but twice! And to top it off, they levied a ludicrous £150 for a stain inside a drawer that wasn't even there when we left! 🙄 This so-called agency is nothing short of a total scam. Their attempt to steal our hard-earned money is outrageous and completely unethical. It was only thanks to the intervention of a dispute team that we managed to reclaim a significant portion of our deposit. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this agency. Their deceptive practices and extortionate charges make it clear that they are not to be trusted. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable and honest company instead.
