New Pooles Lodge - Bristol

My elderly father made the move from Weymouth to live closer to us. He had been having increasing problems with mobility issues and no longer wanted all the hassle of looking after his own home. He has been delighted with the move to New Pooles Lodge. The Lodge Manger, Mike Tomlin, is simply amazing - highly efficient and super friendly; nothing is too much trouble for him. Overall its proved to be a most welcoming and comfortable place for Dad to live. Very happy & throughly recommend.

Cavendish Lodge, Glastonbury. A great place to live and work.

I’ve worked at Cavendish Lodge as a contractor since it was opened in 2006 and have to say it is one of the best retirement homes in the area. Plenty of activities for the residents, who are always pleasant and friendly. The lodge has a homely feel, is kept spotlessly clean and everything is maintained and ran very well by the lodge manager.

I went here looking to rent a flat a while back and pretty much as soon as I sat down I was told "I dont think you're committed to renting at the moment" by a jumped up agent working there - Could not believe how rude the guy was. I subsequently went elsewhere and rented a property for £1600 a month, more fool them. I'm sure this was a one off, but agents like him give you all a bad name.

Friendly enough service, but a huge lack of communication throughout the process of marketing my property for rent. No call backs, no feedback on viewings, no enthusiasm at all. I used another agent who actually found me tenants within a few weeks. Wasted six weeks with this firm. They also promised to return my house keys on many occasions and failed. I had to take time out to go to their office and wait around for staff to work out where they had placed them. NOT PROFESSIONAL. THEY LOST LOTS OF MY FUTURE BUSINESS.

They helped us get a sale in a rocky market and guided us on price without putting any pressure on us to do anything we were not comfortable with. The sales team are great but what really gives Churchills the icing on the cake is their after sales. Getting a sale is just the first step and you really need someone to push that forward once the sale is agreed. I'd highly recommend them.

Everybody says that one of the most stressful things you will do in your life is to move house. As we had not moved for well over twenty years making the decision of choosing the right estate agent was essential. Philip Mount, the Senior Branch Manager from Churchill Estates South Woodford, valued our house and understood this was our home and filled us with confidence with his professional approach and we valued his opinion and his honesty. All the sale team worked as a team and Alison White carried out most of our viewings with great confidence and when that offer came in and my husband and I were totally unaware of every next step Tracey Leachman stepped in and never left our side, guiding us through the exchange process and completion, she was most definitely the golden thread that held everything together.
