Graca is one of the best professionals I have ever met in my entire career. I work as a property consultant focusing on the buyer’s side, and thanks to Graca, my client purchased a property of undeniable value and great potential. Her collaboration went far beyond all expectations, and even when there were issues retrieving the keys to a property I needed to show my clients, she immediately stepped in to solve the problem. I cannot sing this companies praises high enough! From start to finish Lucy was a phenomenal help to myself and my partner in our house move. We were required to pay a holding deposit, yet the property was never removed from Rightmove or Zoopla. After referencing was completed, the agent refused to discuss alternatives with the landlord, demanded a large upfront rent, and insisted on an unreasonable move-in date. When we did not agree, the entire holding deposit was retained. We were also advised to discuss serving notice with our existing landlord before any tenancy was agreed, exposing us to unnecessary financial risk. An inflexible, one-sided, and unprofessional process.

Myself and my partner were desperately looking for a home as I had recently got a new job in London and whilst she is already living in London this meant a big relocation for me as I was living in Sussex. We had viewed and enquired about properties with several other estate agents but had not found the right place for us. I came across a property at Barnard Marcus and instantly enquired. Sadly living in Sussex this meant I was unable to attend the open house that was happening that same evening. This being said, the wonderful team at Barnard Marcus notably Priya and Sameer were so helpful and soon sent over a detailed and thorough video of the property that we were then able to put an offer forward. We were then supported and kept informed about our offers progress by Sameer and we were later accepted for the property! Sameer’s support has been second to none and he has continued to guide and help us through the moving in stage and will continue to support us throughout our tenancy. He is a true asset to Barnard Marcus as despite being new to the company he is knowledgeable, professional and and has been so caring towards us during what could have been a far more stressful experience without his support. Hands down the best experience we have had with an estate agent. We sold and bought through them. We have moved 5 times over the last 10 years so have a lot of experience. These guys really earn their money - they are professional, helpful and effective (in a challenging market). Above all else, once the sale has been agreed, they work with you to move it forward. You get a real sense that they are on your side and not just chasing their commission. Completely outstanding and, if being honest, changed my view of the profession (based on previous experience). Particular shout out to Eva and Leon. Would not hesitate to use them again - we certainly will if we move again.

I’ve had a really disappointing experience with this agency. After changing tenants in my previous property, the new tenants moved in, yet the agents failed to get them to sign a contract for nearly two weeks. This lack of organisation is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I’ve received multiple emails stating that I’m in arrears for rent, despite no longer living at the property. Even more concerning, the landlord has been messaging both me and the current tenants claiming that rent arrears are outstanding. This has caused unnecessary stress and confusion that could have easily been avoided with proper management. Throughout the process, the agents have shown a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. Communication has been poor, and there seems to be no urgency in resolving issues that they themselves have caused.
