I even don’t want to give one star because of very very cheap and low costumer services. Avoid them because of the cheap behaviour of staff. They value their own time not the costumer.

VENDORS - Spend that 0.5% extra
VENDORS - Spend that 0.5% extra to provide your buyers with a legal above board experience. We purchased a flat with Wintana at Barnard Marcus. They do not respect the law regarding conditional selling. We were forced to use in house solicitors to have our offer put forward. We were pushed to sign contracts when our property was not in the condition we offered. Very money-focused, no customer service whatsoever.

I signed a contract with them what a mistake !
I signed a contract with them in December, for 12 weeks, their staff over priced the property by £100,000.00 ! Local market knowledge !4 months later, i was told it was overpriced, as I tried repeatedly to get out of the 12 week contract which I believed to be over, I was told you then have to give a further 28 days notice !What a stitch up! avoid signing with them !Comment on agent feesThey got me to put the property on at £100,000 more than it was worth, with a fee based on this, then when the price was reduced wouldn't reduce their fee - its a scam to get more fee's !

Unprofessional
We agreed to move the 1st of March, the state agent asked us to live the 28th if Feb. We were trying to understand why pushing us to do so. We have previously arranged with our removal company for the 1st March. The state agent took 3 days to send us the contract over, just Te afternoon before we were supposed to move in. And it was delayed for a day, we had to reschedule the removal company many amd oay fees and change the date for a day where it increased £10 extra per hour! It is really disappointing and we were so frustrated. Don’t trust them and get anything written by email.

Estate Agencies immorality
It is immoral, unethical Estate agency taking deposit from the tenants and keeping it in their system to improve their cash flow. Maybe they are on the edge of bankruptcy.I agreed to rent a flat for 1300/month. then the agent said the landlord wants 1325 I said ok. We signed agreement and I paid £500 deposit, it was immediately deducted from my account. next day the agent said the landlord wants £1350 I said no I want my money back, aweek later said ok the landlord might consider your offer! I said no I want my money back! since 20 oct till now which is 31 oct I have not recvd my money and still asking them everyday to pay me my money. What should we do with people lie that?

Below par by anybody's standard. Had to call 6 times just to organise a viewing over the course of 2 days. They kept saying there is only 1 person in the entire sales team (Shane) and he was hardly ever there. When I finally got through and booked a viewing for 10am Saturday I was greeted by a completely different negotiator. I thought they only had 1? I was greeted by her saying, "Did we tell you about the mass water damage?" I looked inside the flat for all of 10 seconds before I gave up on this company. They were difficult to arrange a viewing, weren't truthful about what you were viewing, and overall a mess. No follow up calls to confirm I was viewing or what my thoughts were on it. I'm surprised they are still in operation...

Roy was a fantastic agent throughout the course of my sale, always very quick with feedback following viewings and always honest about feedback. He managed the process very smoothly.

Scott and Lucy at the Sanderstead office provided a good service
Scott and Lucy at the Sanderstead office provided a good service when I was selling my flat. They were polite and helpful and responded to phone calls and emails and passed on communication from the buyer. They kept the sale alive during times when there were pauses from either buyer or seller.

Mr. Peter G Gallaher deserves unlimited stars for his knowledge, experience and its application to resolve complex cases. Throughout the process he was very professional, helpful & trust worthy. Happily, we will recommend his consultancy and advisory on real estate/mortgage related matters.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review, we are thrilled that you were happy with our service.

The Letting Department of this Putney Branch is efficient and attentive as well as friendly. Minty, Gemma and the rest of the letting staff followed my specific letting requirements very diligently.

Georgina at Lavender Hill
My son bought a flat in Nine Elms, the process was handled by Georgina Saunderson from the Lavender Hill branch of Barnard MarcusThe structural survey identified a few issues that needed to be sorted outThe situation was complicated as the vendor has emigrated to Australia and the property unoccupiedHowever Georgina walked us through the process with sensible solutionsIt has been a pleasure to deal with her

Good luck if you are a seller!
Wanted to see an auction flat. Emailed. No response. Chased - one response with few details. Emailed two more times, no response. Showed up on day of viewing and met with a disinterested and rude agent really looking to end the viewing. What a wonderful experience! Would never use them if I were selling. Good luck to you if you are!

Very Pleasant Experience
I had a very pleasant experience dealing with the manager of Ealing Branch Manager, Anthony Woznia. With his help, I found my current home and I couldn't be happier living in it, for almost a year now!Their staff are knowledge, courteous, and in general very professional. And I would love to work with them again and again.

Scammers
Scammers, don't trust them, I've lost time and money when I was about to buy a flat. They recommended me their mortgage adviser Timea Bozhani which charged me 750 pounds upfront. Despite having an excellent score I didn't qualify for any mortgage. I will never again use this agency, and for sure I'm not paying anyone upfront.

Already bad experiences during the tenancy so we looked to move out, inventory checkout was poorly coordinated - we were told someone would call us on the day of checkout, nobody did, so we rang them up and they gave us the external inventory agents and they said they had no record of a appointment for our property. We are now 3 weeks post-leaving the property, and still no sight of the deposit.

Barnard Marcus Sutton
Having trouble with a simple check out report on my property at the sutton branch. Despite being told the inventory checklist was due to be completed last week I have had no further updates. All I want is regular updates but obviously too much to ask for. Will never rent a property through this agency again or buy and sell my property as I also has a horrible experience with that process.

Unprofessional and Misleading
I believe we were lied to and manipulated by Barnard Marcus in selling our property. They work for themselves, not you (even though you are paying them a commission). Our sale was riddled with issues and we were advised (repeatedly) of circumstances that were untrue. Please save yourself the headache and stress - find and use an alternative Real Estate firm.

They ghost you
Believe it or not, I have never managed to do viewing with them because each time they booked me, no agents showed up. I had this experience years ago with the branch in Muswell Hill, and it happened again last week in Thornton Heath. I called them, emailed them...not a response, despite my emails, despite my voice messages. I will just disregard every property I come across if managed byt them.

Richard, Natalie, Declan in Putney were very helpful from start to finish during the process of selling my flat. They were very prompt to answer questions. Highly Recommended.

Avoid at all costs.
Avoid at all costs. The important thing for them is the sale, not that they are selling a property with added incentives and then no incentives exist, they go up in smoke.

Very professional property sales team
Buying a property through Barnard Marcus. Liandra in Streatham branch was great to deal with, very helpful and responsive. Ended up buying through Southfields branch who were equally helpful. Did the ID and financial check at the Earlsfield branch for convenience. I love that all the branches are nicely joined up and promoting each other. Compared to many other South London Estate agents, these guys are a pleasure to do business with!
