What a great experience. After approaching BM for some help selling my apartment, the sales market was proving to be tough and thanks to Lauren McDowell would frankly was a life saver because she managed to put a rental deal together that was fantastic for all parties involved. Honestly such a great experience with Jess at Barnard Marcus, she made the whole letting process feel way less stressful than we expected. My experience of Barnard Marcus sales working with Yvette White was that she is proactive and faster than other estate agents in getting your paperwork ready and your property on the market. From start to finish, she gets things done. She kept the sale moving at every stage and did not let delays stall progress. When issues came up, she addressed them quickly and pushed for clear outcomes. She coordinated closely with the solicitors and both parties, ensuring communication stayed focused and completion stayed on track. We had our placed valued and on the market with another agent. Barnard Marcus wrote to me to say they had a cash buyer specifically interested in our property. We varied our contract with another agent to allow for joint agency so we could contract with Barnard Marcus. After the contract was signed they ignored me for two weeks. There was no interested buyer. Fine, I fell for the oldest trick in the book, but as far as I'm concerned that's just dishonesty. They lied. Worse, they ignored us and had terrible customer service. Plus they got loads of details on the online listing wrong. I cancelled the contract during the cooling off period and I had to hassle them for several days (after the cancellation) to remove the listing. Unethical. Now, some brash bozo in their Southampton head office keeps badgering me on the phone. When I said I didn't have time to speak he rudely hung up. Needless to say, I don't recommend them.

Never use them to let your flat out they lie about tenants they are putting in

Used by my fellow homeowner & friend in our small block of flats . They lied to her told her a professional woman in her 40’s they had lined up to rent her flat . Absolute rubbish the woman that moved in very young here on family reunion visa no hate but they lied . There is now 3 adult men , that young woman & her new baby living up there in a tiny 1 bedroom flat . Noisy , other issues. I’ve complained to Bernard Marcus as a homeowner in same small block . TOTALLY IGNORED . Do not ever use them to manage your home as a rental - ever! Liars who do not care . They will know exactly the property I’m writing about in Chiswick . Near Gunnersbury station . Never bothered to address my complaint or concerns about the amount of people living in that flat with the so called ‘professional’ woman in her 40’s they said they had dealt with before & knew. Liars . The owner is trying to remove them - I hope she sues Bernard Marcus for their deceit and complete unprofessional behaviour . I will definitely back her up 100% .

We had already been on the market for over a year, and none of the other Estate Agents we had tried would sell the Share rather than 100%, nor had they been successful. Great experience with the Lettings team - Yvette, Rodellene and Azhar. After a challenging time for letting my flat over many weeks, Barnard Marcus came in and were quickly able to secure a good set of offers and ensured an efficient process of paperwork, check-in and initial support to tenants. Karim Hammoud, A breath of fresh air. Please do not think all estate agents are the same, we had the sad task of having to market my late father in laws property, and was a journey we did not want to undertake.
