They were both very polite helpful and knowledgeable, I would happily recommend them to others. untrustworthy chancers

We had our placed valued and on the market with another agent. Barnard Marcus wrote to me to say they had a cash buyer specifically interested in our property. We varied our contract with another agent to allow for joint agency so we could contract with Barnard Marcus. After the contract was signed they ignored me for two weeks. There was no interested buyer. Fine, I fell for the oldest trick in the book, but as far as I'm concerned that's just dishonesty. They lied. Worse, they ignored us and had terrible customer service. Plus they got loads of details on the online listing wrong. I cancelled the contract during the cooling off period and I had to hassle them for several days (after the cancellation) to remove the listing. Unethical. Now, some brash bozo in their Southampton head office keeps badgering me on the phone. When I said I didn't have time to speak he rudely hung up. Needless to say, I don't recommend them.

Never use them to let your flat out they lie about tenants they are putting in

Used by my fellow homeowner & friend in our small block of flats . They lied to her told her a professional woman in her 40’s they had lined up to rent her flat . Absolute rubbish the woman that moved in very young here on family reunion visa no hate but they lied . There is now 3 adult men , that young woman & her new baby living up there in a tiny 1 bedroom flat . Noisy , other issues. I’ve complained to Bernard Marcus as a homeowner in same small block . TOTALLY IGNORED . Do not ever use them to manage your home as a rental - ever! Liars who do not care . They will know exactly the property I’m writing about in Chiswick . Near Gunnersbury station . Never bothered to address my complaint or concerns about the amount of people living in that flat with the so called ‘professional’ woman in her 40’s they said they had dealt with before & knew. Liars . The owner is trying to remove them - I hope she sues Bernard Marcus for their deceit and complete unprofessional behaviour . I will definitely back her up 100% .

We had already been on the market for over a year, and none of the other Estate Agents we had tried would sell the Share rather than 100%, nor had they been successful. Micheal gave us great advice and confidence that they would be able to do so; and Micheal, Alan, Milo and Andrea were all brilliant, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They were communicative and approachable at every step of the way and did all they could to not only secure a buyer but also to make sure that the sale went as smoothly and quickly as possible.

Really happy with the help and support I got from Vig at this office. Viewed several properties over a few weeks and Vig was always able to quickly answer any questions I had. Also great support via text. Much better than many other agents I’ve dealt with who insist on phone calls. Seriously, who does phones calls anymore? Wake up other estate agents. Professional and friendly, would deal with again! Update: have also dealt with Mai in lettings and she was able to progress things super quickly. Friendly and easy to deal with too.

Being an estate agent myself I chose this estate agent to sell my cousins property in Clapham as they were both knowledgable and professional. It sold within two weeks of marketing and has now exchanged. It’s a leasehold property which as I know can take a lot longer than freehold but from start to finish it was 9 weeks. Aaron went to some great lengths to secure my property on his books and advocated for his long list of applicants and top sales team (i.e. a new joiner and someone on his way out). I had made it clear I had enough of pushy estate agents that do not communicate frequently or share meaningful feedback about viewings. Pretty much every single viewing feedback had to be chased down, almost no proactive communication with me. We then agreed a sale price drop 2 weeks ahead of an open house event. Yet, somehow, the team dropped the ball, didn't change the sale price, so no renewed interest ahead of open house event meant the opportunity window was lost. Absolutely gutted about the service in general. Would not recommend them for a sale.
