I’ve just completed on my flat and used Callum Gerrard as my mortgage broker. I couldn’t recommend Callum highly enough. He was reassuring throughout the entire process, consistently kept me up to date, and genuinely went above and beyond by carrying out additional research on my behalf. He also managed to secure a reduced interest rate just ahead of completion, which made a real difference. His professionalism, dedication, and support were outstanding from start to finish.

We had our placed valued and on the market with another agent. Barnard Marcus wrote to me to say they had a cash buyer specifically interested in our property. We varied our contract with another agent to allow for joint agency so we could contract with Barnard Marcus. After the contract was signed they ignored me for two weeks. There was no interested buyer. Fine, I fell for the oldest trick in the book, but as far as I'm concerned that's just dishonesty. They lied. Worse, they ignored us and had terrible customer service. Plus they got loads of details on the online listing wrong. I cancelled the contract during the cooling off period and I had to hassle them for several days (after the cancellation) to remove the listing. Unethical. Now, some brash bozo in their Southampton head office keeps badgering me on the phone. When I said I didn't have time to speak he rudely hung up. Needless to say, I don't recommend them.

Never use them to let your flat out they lie about tenants they are putting in

Used by my fellow homeowner & friend in our small block of flats . They lied to her told her a professional woman in her 40’s they had lined up to rent her flat . Absolute rubbish the woman that moved in very young here on family reunion visa no hate but they lied . There is now 3 adult men , that young woman & her new baby living up there in a tiny 1 bedroom flat . Noisy , other issues. I’ve complained to Bernard Marcus as a homeowner in same small block . TOTALLY IGNORED . Do not ever use them to manage your home as a rental - ever! Liars who do not care . They will know exactly the property I’m writing about in Chiswick . Near Gunnersbury station . Never bothered to address my complaint or concerns about the amount of people living in that flat with the so called ‘professional’ woman in her 40’s they said they had dealt with before & knew. Liars . The owner is trying to remove them - I hope she sues Bernard Marcus for their deceit and complete unprofessional behaviour . I will definitely back her up 100% .

Alex Cumino has been fantastic in sorting out my mortgage from start to finish. It can be a bit daunting sharing all your personal and financial information with someone new but Alex made that simple and easy for me. He took the time to understand my requirements as well as explain each step of the way. He even helped me by talking through my thought process of securing an offer on a the property which I liked and that proved successful. After providing me with a recommended option and processing that through there were few clarifications from the mortgage provider and he managed them well on my behalf as well as adjusting to a few changes to my application.
