I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY. Used this company to manage my property to let for 3-4 years. I had 1 tenant during that time. Absolute shambles, they didn't respond to my tenant for repairs, my tenant built resentment and in-turn left my property in awful condition. They used the pandemic as an excuse but that's just not good enough. There were records showing multiple instances of my tenant asking for repairs and they ignored them. Of course at the end, the damages were seen as "wear & tear" but there was no fighting it, I barely got to keep any deposit. My anger is not left with the tenant, they were treated poorly by the letting agents. SHAMEFUL.

Doug was a lifesaver doing a remote viewing for my flatmate and I and answering all our questions. The rent they were asking for was really reasonable and there was no betting war required between us and other applicants because the focus for them is having trustworthy tenants rather than just whoever has the most money, which I didn't think was possible in London! Hayley and Scott were great as well. Definitely recommended if you want a reasonable estate agent in London.

Doug was pleasant at the apartment viewing and very knowledgeable of the area. Hayley, who works alongside Doug was also very pleasant and dealt with the delays with providing the agreement professionally. As house sales go, a really relaxed and stress free experience. This was down, in the main, to the relationship with Tenaha at Bairstow and brilliant communication with all parties involved. There was lots of opportunity for the house sale to fall off the “tracks”, yet her ability to spin all those “proverbial” plates, made all parties feel at ease and knowing that it was all under control. The ability to be candid, yet understanding with individuals, when the industry can dictate, perhaps a demagogic behaviour, is a rare commodity in my experience. An opportunity to also say thank you to Maxine and Jake who have also helped me previous sales and purchases too.

I can’t recommend Chrissie Thompson as a too letting agent …. My brother had a house fire and I was trying to help him accommodations before Christmas …. I have been looking for 3 weeks and in them 3 weeks Chrissie was the first agent to call me back …. I would like to take this opportunity to thank both Elliot and his team at Bairstow Eves. They have been such a pleasure to work with. He is so hands on with ensuring everything is running smoothly and on time. He has been very pro-efficient with both the developers and legal side of things. Especially with supprting us with securing the property from the developers. He has always been a call away and is always quick to clear up any queries. We were kept updated regarding the status of our property at all stages. Elliot truly was a support pillar for us throughout the whole process of of buying our first home and I don't think we could have done it without him! We have now exchanged contracts and are working towards completion! I have to also note that on occasions I had the pleasure of speaking to a few others working at Bairstow eves notably Elise who was always sweet and willing to help! The other week i lost my hamster in my apartment the property management team were extremely rude and did not evacuate the area. Nibbles is a dangerous beast and they did not appreciate the threat the whole building was under, there is no regarded for the safety of myself or any anyone else. After a sleepless night filled with fear nibbles was found causing carnage underneath the washing machine. I rung back to explain this when i was playing golf with sebastian who had just run me over once i had enjoyed a juicy apple.

We hand delivered a new direct debit form when they increased the rent by £10.00 pound to the branch manger. We were reassured everything is fine and no further information is required from us. So we went to holiday. On our return we received letter saying we didn't paid full rent and had to pay a fine. It took several calls and visit with branch manager to convince we are not at fault and shouldn't pay fine. When we left the property after 6 months they gave negative feedback to our new Letting Agent saying we didn't pay additional £10.00 on time on one occasion. How disorganised, low, and unprofessional! Nearly made us homeless. It was 5 years ago but still annoys me until now. This letting agent deserve negative 5 stars.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
