I have been living in a flat in North London, managed by Alwyne Estate Agents, for 18 years. The agency has always provided excellent stress free service consistently throughout the years. Always responded quickly to all my questions and carried out repairs and improvements year after year. The staff are always available to listen to your concerns and quick to deal with any problems you may have. I primarily contact and work with Emily. This lovely lady has been extremely helpful, friendly and highly professional. I have never felt the need to move! I would highly recommend Alwyne without hesitation. Farhad N22

When my brother died suddenly I had to deal with selling his flat (which was not in a condition that made it easy to sell!) and to do so from a distance as I live a long way from London. I was lucky- as my solicitor said to me, to choose Alwyne’s to handle the sale. They have been fantastic from the outset. Freddie immediately came to the flat and gave me advice on the sale and from then on Malcolm steered the sale through, finding a purchaser and keeping me informed and dealing with a number of difficult problems that arose in the sale. It took ages to get probate and there were various other hurdles along the way, but throughout Malcolm has handled matters calmly, while getting the best price possible and keeping the purchasers onside. Selling somewhere can be fraught with stress and worry- especially in a period when the housing market is so flat- but throughout Malcolm has been a rock. Many thanks!!!

Excellent professional service

I recently sold a flat through Alwyne Estates. I found their advice and service excellent. They priced my flat at the correct level, produced excellent details with quality photos. Arranged several viewing and concluded a rapid sale. I dealt with Malcolm Levy who has extensive local knowledge and was very experienced, I appreciated his advice throughout the sale, and he kept the solicitors involved on their toes which resulted in a quick transaction. From initial marketing to completion of sale in under 12 weeks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and Malcolm in particular. IJC

I helped my mum with her flat purchase which was through Alwyne Estate Agents and I have to say Freddie was absolutely amazing. Buying and selling your home is such an emotional process anyway but even more so for us because of our personal circumstances. However, Freddie was really understanding and to be honest, just seemed like a really decent person from the get go. (We met A LOT of estate agents through our journey and that’s not always the vibe you get). He proved himself to be really responsive, communicative and was integral in getting the entire process done really quickly. Thank you Freddie!

Alwyne Estate agents helped me move my house from a short term let to a long term let. They found a great tenant SUPER quickly, and then also had an amazing team to help move my stuff out and get it ready for the new tenant. They took all the stress and hard work out of it, so it was all really easy for me. And the ongoing account management has been great so far (Caitlin is brilliant). They let me know when there are issues wiht plenty of notice, and the tradesmen they contract are very reasonable, and do a good job. Total professionals. Can't recommend them enough.

I have recently bought a flat through Alwyne Estates and was helped and guided through the process by Malcolm. He was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Malcolm knows the area so well having worked in North London for many years, so he is knowledgeable and very generous with that knowledge. He made what could have been a very difficult process much easier. Malcolm is a great communicator giving updates to me and helping to move the sale/purchase along with the seller and both solicitors. If you are buying or selling in this area Malcolm is a great estate agent to work with.

After sending enquires via rightmove and their website I received a response 11 days later. I arranged a viewing as it was the holiday period and accepted office hours change. A the viewing I was told the available date on the ad would be ‘a stretch’. The pictures were completely inaccurate as there was a mould issue and it looked like the previous tenant smoked as the walls were chipped and blackened. Considering I had waited so long for the viewing and was running out of time I put an offer in…only to be ignored for 3 days and then to be contacted on a weekend to be asked for more…knowing it wasn’t even possible for them to reach my move date because…they had ignored me for 3 days. Terrible service from both estate agents and landlords. Avoid if renting.

Our flat was put on the market Oct 2020 with Alwyne Estates . Freddie Grubb managed the process from start to end. We accepted an offer soon after it went on the market and the process began a few weeks after. The sale took longer than we anticipated as the 1st buyer pulled out 6 months after and nearing the completion. With Freddie’s advice we decided to put it back on the market . I've just purchased a home via Alwyne Estates. Freddie has been really great throughtout the whole process - from viewing the place, making an offer, getting the solicitors to do their part and organise for the old furniture to be removed from the flat before I received the keys. The communication has been pleasant and relaxed (really appriciate not being chased on the phone 24/7), he was honest and helpful from the very start and made the whole process a smoother. Alwyne Estates are superb! Rightly or wrongly Estate Agents have a reputation that is not usually held in the highest regard.
