Worst Branch Manager ExperienceI had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the worst branch manager ever. Initially, they presented me with a lower offer, which was fine. However, they failed to inform me, their client, that there was also a higher offer. When I mentioned that the initial offer was too low and referred to the valuation they first provided, the manager suddenly presented a second, higher offer from the buyers within seconds. This raised doubts in my mind about the transparency of the offers and made me suspect there might be ulterior motives to push the price down or other incentives at play. The manager was, quite frankly, the worst negotiator I've encountered and was rude and pushy on the phone.The initial valuation and approach by another team member were fine, and things started off well. However, a potential deal was missed due to how the initial offer and negotiation were handled. After two and a half weeks, I emailed another team member to reconsider the negotiations, only to be informed that they had made an offer on another property.Since they came on board as part of a multi-agent arrangement, I haven't had any discussions about the market report, except for a copy sent by email . The personalized client engagement was non-existent. When I informed them of the end of my contract, the branch manager herself asked why. After I explained my reasons, none of my subsequent emails were replied to, except for chasing the removal of their advert. This behavior was completely immature, to say the Least. But after the removal I got sent email contract doesn't end till November - the irony. They didn't bother to inform me of this on my initial email. What was once a good estate agent is no longer for me. I have now returned /remained with my first estate agent, who has been absolutely brilliant throughout years as a customer with them.Personally I do no recommend nor come touch their services ever again. @nearly 4k price tag for their fees, the standard is just awful.

Had booked a viewing, to go view a property they had to offer (got a confirmation text and everything). When going to view the property no one answered the door or was waiting outside. Waited near 30min and when the office finally answered they said the person who was in charge of the keys was on holiday and shouldn’t have booked the viewing in the first place. Adding to all of the annoyment I had to use time off work for this, the company wasn’t even sorry and im also quite heavily pregnant so going to places isn’t comfortable for me either… Conclusion won’t be looking at Entwistle Green Lettings properties anymore.

My partner bought a house from this estate agents and the people were friendly ok people. The trouble is these guys suggested she use a service fior providing the mortgage and conveyancing from a company called Countrywide as they said it would make life easier, so I agreed! WORST DECISION EVER!!!!!!Countrywide were incompetent in setting up the mortgage and the conveyancing side are incompetent, obstructive and obscenely exspensive. Please please please do not take the estate agents recommendation to use Countrywide!!!!What they estate agent fails to tell you is Countrywide owns the estate agents and they use the agents service as salesmen - it’s not impartial advice it’s salesspeak when they say it will be easier etc it WONT trust me If you see a house you love with this agent, buy it but DO NOT USE COUNTRYWIDE

Would not recommend to my worst enemy. A terrible experience with Entwistle Green (Westhoughton branch). The team were never really interested in helping us pursue the house we wanted and made up lies, excuses and tried to delay our purchase as much as they physically could. We dealt with Tammy and Claire who made little effort in easing what should be a fun and exciting experience for a first time buyer. They tried their absolute hardest to keep us from viewing the house, despite the fact we rushed to put together a proof of deposit for them as this was apparently a requirement. They then claimed to have "accepted" our offer.. yet still listed a previous lower offer on their website. They kept taking other offers and completely backtracked on the fact they accepted our offer. Meanwhile, we were still adamant we wanted this house, so we raised the stakes.. so much to the point that both Tammy and Claire claimed that they would be opting for another buyer for a LOWER PRICE. It was never about price.. they never took our offer seriously and tried to delay our purchase from going ahead (by claiming they were having "technical issues").. and it was always me that chased them for updates. If they ever faced an issue, they wouldn't contact me. I had to pick up the phone 5 times a day to get every little update and attempt to hold their hand through the process. It's now become apparent that they never wanted us to hold hands. Service was so poor - Claire (someone who is clearly in the wrong job!) could barely count up our deposit figures. I am still trying to understand what their hidden agenda was, but one thing is for sure... they are rotten to the core and made our lives an absolute misery. What a waste of time and effort. This experience has made me lose faith in the fact that there must be good, honest and hard-working people out there.

Eve was very helpful, has a friendly personality and gave us the information that we needed at the time. When she said she would ring us back she did. She knows that we wanted 10 Ronwood instead of the one in town and informed us straight way that it was available. All staff were great as well.

First valuation was cancelled by them as it was apparently booked, under the wrong branch, only told on the morning of the valuation , second valuation missed as valuer was ill, told I'd have to wait 2 weeks for another booking. Didn't want to take the chance as I'd already taken two days off work for them. Understand people get ill but when you've let someone down twice you move them to the head of the queue not keep them waiting for another 2 weeks.

There tenants next to use have been the worst in civilised people I have seen in my life. They have smashed up there property drugs on the street police have been involved more times then I count absolute living hell for over 5 years. But somehow these people think it's fine to keep such an abusive rough tenant in the same property. Were sick to death of them. Weve complained so many times to them and police nothing gets done. There tenant dings loudly all day of the top of her voice were fed up. I will be taking legal action against this agancy

I arranged to rent a property through them and paid both the deposit and the first month’s rent after viewing the house with Joe. He showed me the property, and everything was discussed clearly or so I thought.

I was recommended by an agency Get Agent (where you can compare different agencies) to contact Entwistle Green as I want to find out about either letting or selling my property in Liverpool City Centre. I spoke to a lady on Wednesday and said that I would like to arrange a combined viewing for letting and sales and she gave me some slots. I then spoke to my managing agent and asked him to be present at the property at the time we arranged also confirmed with Entwistle (Kelis Rogers). I not only spoke to her on the phone, I was then sent an email and two text messages to confirm that Sophie Marlow will be visiting. My agent waited for them for sometime and they never turned up. They did not even have the courtesy to call me and tell me they weren't coming, but finally when I called them and asked them what happened and why no one turned up - that lady had the audacity to tell me that I hadn't confirmed. I was aghast. Instead of apologising that they decided not to turn up, they actually blamed me after the appointment had been confirmed on 4 occasions. I still cant believe they blatantly lied to me on my face. Definitely avoid. And when I came to do a review of this agency - I saw that their rating is 2.6 - which says a lot.

Old Swan Branch - As a company they are abhorent and make the process for first time buyers stressful and difficult. Rang up for several properties, no viewings offered as was supposedly under offer, took copious amounts of information, offered a paid package to search and offer first viewing options before properties come on the market. Bombarded me daily with sales pitches and mortgage advise deals emails and other nonsense. I have continued to block and report. Money hungry scammers.

I WILL NEVER USE THIS AGENT AGAIN, so unprofessional and unorganised and the most rudest women who deals with deposits. I had lived in my little flat for nearly 13 years very happily only be told that the owner was wanting to sell, this isnt the issue, the issue is how i was managed by the Allerton Road branch and the rude and obnoxious the lady who deals with deposits. i spent many hours cleaning the apartment before leaving and had photographic evidence of this only to receive a report to the contrary saying it was dirty dusty and in a state of disrepair, i looked after this property whilst there and it was spotless when i left. I really want to make a complaint about the whole thing but i cant find an email address to contact.

Dreadful. Told us that we had to be there in person to view properties when we're trying to move from another city and work full time so we can't go in person. Won't do virtual viewings or phone calls for us and won't accept offers without viewing the property first. Shambles. How do people move cities when they can't be at all accommodating for anyone else's needs? Embarrassing company and embarrassing policies. Totally unhelpful staff who just sigh down the phone at you. Makes moving so much more stressful when it's completely unnecessary. Just offer virtual viewings!Edit: made the long trip for a viewing. They didn't even bother to show up. This was after changing the time at the last minute and getting our booking wrong multiple times.

A very disappointing experience, would avoid. My first tenant through an agent was unfortunately with Entwistle Green (Allerton branch) checks were supposedly carried out before moving in, but somehow huge debt was carried over and bailiffs still attend my property for them, even now they have moved on. I was continuously told one thing over the phone, and then an email would shortly follow to say something different, which shows poor communication amongst the team. My house was fully turned into a cannabis farm for the 12month duration of the tenancy, which the (third party) who carried out an inspection failed to notice or take photos of the many holes cut out of the ceilings, electric cupboard, or related equipment lying around. Once I carried out the 12 month inspection myself and saw the significant water damage, I referred back to the 6 month photos by third party and when zoomed in the evidence was there for them to see!Once I got the tenant out, I was owed rent arrears, and to add insult to injury EW asked for £150 for a check out inspection (same third party with attention to detail) and the rent/legal protection cover I'd paid for all along failed to protect me/refuse to assist because it was under 2 months worth of rent owed. I tried solid for a week to get in touch with the office, left multiple voicemails, and after emailing I was promised a call back and heard nothing. Even though I wouldn't dream about going through these agents again, I was surprised by them ignoring me, as fee's would be involved for them in helping me find a new tenant. Overall shocking experience with this agent, and was enough to put anyone off renting property out.

We had an extremely poor experience with Entwistle Green. The service and communication were awful. On one occasion we were even told that the vendor was angry and had been put on speakerphone so the entire office could listen. Completely unprofessional.

The worst experience in my life , very unprofessional behaviour by the landlord as well as the agency, first they said to move as soon as possible and after chasing the references when everything was complete the landlord said i no longer want to continue , wasting time and i had no where to go as I already gave a notice to my previous landlord it was quite un pathetic and absolutely not acceptable behaviour entirely rude people the dont deserve to advertise an property

Entwistle Green (St Helens)Unfortunately I have to give 1 star review and even that is being generous. After telling us that we were going to be given another contract after our renewal date by the way a week and a half later we were issued with an section 21 no fault eviction so they lied. Apparently the landlord was sentenced to 10 years in prison which has nothing to do with us but when we did find a property they wouldn't allow us to leave earlier. They lied from the start and then we get given a council tax bill for 4 days after we moved out. We moved out on the 24th November they have charged us until the 28th November. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL AGENT. I SERIOUSLY WOULDN'T GO THROUGH THEM AT WHATEVER THE COST. There unscrupulous and pushy and useless and the staff turnover is terrible.
