I would like to thank Entwistle Green for the professional service that they provided to me recently. When i rung the office, I was usually able to speak to somebody but if not, left a message and was impressed how a member of the team would always return my call - usually within the day. I never had to chase up my purchase as I was always kept updated. On more than one occasion Entwistle Green liaised between myself and the vendor which proved effective with moving the purchase forward. I was pleased to be able to speak to the same member of staff when I called which was Samantha who was always up to speed. I was particularly impressed with this company because from agreeing the sale to completion was within three months. I would have no hesitation in recommending this estate agent.

We had an extremely poor experience with Entwistle Green. The service and communication were awful. On one occasion we were even told that the vendor was angry and had been put on speakerphone so the entire office could listen. Completely unprofessional.

The best estate agency in Crosby..I’ve been looking for flat/house to rent and tried many estate agencies around Crosby but none of them took me seriously as I’m only 19..When I went to Entwistle Green I asked one of the staff members called Jenna to book a viewing for an appartment and she told me with honesty that it wasn’t appropriate for me..She reccomend me a house almost in the same price..I wanted to get this house as soon as possible, so she explained me into details everything that I needed to get such as paperwork and procedures...She treated me fairly and with respect and always contact me for any issues..She was friendly,professional and trustworthy as I could rely on her for everything..Now I live in this house and I’m really glad that I co-operated with Entwistle Green..

Having owned properties for over 11 years and normally sourcing tenants fairly easily, I believe the “filtering” is becoming much harder. Having refurbished a lovely little flat I own, I therefore decided to enlist the support of Entwistle Green to tighten up my screening and find me somebody who would hopefully make it their home and reliably pay their rent; I met with Alex who was friendly, knowledgeable, competent and confident that she would find somebody suitable in a very short space of time. She informed me of her marketing approach and of stringent vetting and reference checks which formed part of their tenant-find process. The property was marketed online the next day, had a flurry of viewings and appointments booked, and has now been let successfully. I wouldn’t hesitate to utilise their expertise again. The worst experience in my life

The worst experience in my life , very unprofessional behaviour by the landlord as well as the agency, first they said to move as soon as possible and after chasing the references when everything was complete the landlord said i no longer want to continue , wasting time and i had no where to go as I already gave a notice to my previous landlord it was quite un pathetic and absolutely not acceptable behaviour entirely rude people the dont deserve to advertise an property

Entwistle Green (St Helens)Unfortunately I have to give 1 star review and even that is being generous. After telling us that we were going to be given another contract after our renewal date by the way a week and a half later we were issued with an section 21 no fault eviction so they lied. Apparently the landlord was sentenced to 10 years in prison which has nothing to do with us but when we did find a property they wouldn't allow us to leave earlier. They lied from the start and then we get given a council tax bill for 4 days after we moved out. We moved out on the 24th November they have charged us until the 28th November. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL AGENT. I SERIOUSLY WOULDN'T GO THROUGH THEM AT WHATEVER THE COST. There unscrupulous and pushy and useless and the staff turnover is terrible.

Had the worse experience with Entwistle Crosby branch. All this company is bothered about is hitting their bonus's. We made an offer 15k below asking price and 2 days later we still hasn't heard back from entwistle. We went in and was told he had received offers above asking price but was still waiting to here back from the vender. He called us 10 mins after leaving to say if we offer asking price it was ours. I said I would only go to 5k less than asking price if they took it off the market. He said he would once survey was booked. The day the survey was in progress they called to say a cash buyer had been in and offered 7k more an if we wanted to proceed we would have to match it. I called my surveyor to see if he could cancel the survey but he was already surveying the house and whilst on the phone to him he took another call of entwistle who asked if he could hurry as they had someone waiting to view it. He advised that this was unethical and he would have to inform me of the fact they were letting others view after my offer had been excepted and I had paid £500 for a survey. We later found out that there was no cash buyer only a couple who were yet to sell their house. But by then we had agreed to up our offer. Tom the branch manager was caught out a number of times telling blatant lies. Do not trust this man and this branch as they will do anything to get the price they want as to hit their bonus's. They do not have their clients best interests at heart. They are just cowboys. Stay clear of buying or selling through this branch. The sale never went through as the property was down valued and Entwistle advised their client not to lower their asking price even though initially they excepted a 5k lower than asking price offer originally.

I rented at property off Entwistle Green for around a year and a half, when it came to moving out and reciving my deposit back i found myself jumping over so many hurdles even though my land lord had given them the all clear to release it. To receive my deposit I spoke to coutless insurance companys, who had nothing to do with the deposit, the agency then started loosing information such as landlord emails and deposit receipts. Over all it took 3 months to receive most of my depost. I found the agency to be unprofessional and very unhelpful, I wouldnt recogment them to anyone as I feel they where just trying to hold onto my money as much as posible with no actual right to do so.

Could not be happier with the service…

Could not be happier with the service and support we have had from Entwistle in the Widnes/Runcorn area. We have been in contact with Amy for the last few weeks who has been a live saver. My mum has been looking for a new house after receiving a notice from her current landlord. Every agency or rep we have spoken with has been extremely unhelpful, it came across judgemental as soon as we mentioned my mums disability and the support she needs. Amy has gone above and beyond to make us feel valued and supported and did not stop trying to help us. The constant communication and reassurance made us feel so at ease and has made the whole transition so much easier. I can’t thank you enough!l and my mum is extremely grateful.

AVOID!

My mums flat flooded due to a leaking pipe, it's been over 9 weeks and both Entwistle and the landlord have still not fixed the problem. Black mould has overtook the floors and walls in the bedroom causing my mum to have breathing difficulties, a very nasty cough, headaches and nose bleeds. Both Entwistle and the landlord have been made aware or the extent of this health and safety issue and both denied responsibility at first until I went through the contract to disprove their claims. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The property was rented out within two weeks and Alex and the whole team have been nothing short of amazing. Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Arranged a Lettings valuation last week for 11am in L4. Didn't bother to turn up. Called and the agent was on the phone and would call back Left another two messages and again nothing. Also has the sales team booked for 2.30.pm. then got a call at 2.50 with a desk top valuation. Why can't people communicate. Very frustrating and very disappointing as we are not often up in Liverpool. Won't bother with them again.
