TrustpilotSold in 5 days, couldn’t have asked for more!
We honestly couldn’t recommend Bradleys enough. From start to finish, the whole experience of selling our home was brilliant.
A massive shout out in particular to Jack (COYS!), who was our agent throughout the process. He was so relatable, down to earth and just a genuinely lovely guy. By the end of it, we honestly felt like we were dealing with a friend rather than an estate agent! Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and the communication throughout was 10/10.
Clare and Jordan were also fab, stepping in and helping both Jack and us along the way whenever needed. The whole team just made what is normally a really stressful process feel so much easier.
Our house sold within 5 days of going on the market, and the photos and videos they arranged were amazing and presented our home beautifully. They'd even organised off market viewings, before it had even gone live.
We actually bought this same house through Bradleys back in 2020 and had a great experience with them then too, so it felt quite fitting that they were the ones to sell it for us as we move on to our next chapter.
Just a genuinely lovely bunch of people who are great at what they do. We’ve already recommended them to others and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. Thank you so much Jack, Clare, Jordan and everyone at Bradleys! ❤️

GoogleWe bought a house advertised by Bradleys, and had a pretty frustrating experience viewing it. The estate agent who showed us around stuck to us like glue, which honestly made us feel like common theives, and hurried us through the viewing (this was after we'd had an offer accepted, which was additionally insulting). It's essential that buyers are given time and space to actually look at the home they're buying, without someone awkwardly following your every move. I was even uncomfortably told not to touch the cupboard doors when I was checking out the kitchen fixtures etc. There were important aspects of the house we missed as a result, for example things that the owners had purposefully hidden under furniture etc. It was our first home so at the time couldn't afford to be picky, but I'll certainly never again buy a house from an estate agent where I'm not trusted to have a proper viewing.
Have some respect for your buyers!

Dear Jas R, we're sorry to hear about your experience as detailed above. This is certainly not how we train our team members. I have tried to locate a file to read the notes and investigate the matter further however, cannot find any details to match, if you could contact info@beagroup.co.uk with the address of the property it would be much appreciated and we can then ensure this is addressed and doesn't happen again. We do hope you are happy in your new home.

GoogleHaving sold our property, we made an offer at a level as suggested by Amanda of Liskeard Office for a property we had viewed. We were told that sellers were withdrawing their property from the market until the Spring but they would contact the vendors. As we had not had any further response from Bradley’s at Liskeard I spoke with the manager, Martin Durber. He told me that he was trying to get the vendors to accept our offer and I asked to be kept informed. Days later we now see that property has been sold STC but we have not heard from Bradleys and we were not given an opportunity to raise our offer if it was insufficient.
I therefore assume that our offer was merely used to lever another buyer to raise their bid.
Whatever the reason the seller may not have achieved the best price for their sale and we as buyers shall avoid the properties they are advertising so as not to be subjected to their lies and sharp practices.
UPDATE 01/12/20
Further to my earlier entry.
I have made a Subject Access Request for my personal information held by Bradley Estate Agents under the Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR). The results are very revealing.
Seemingly, a letter drafted by the negotiator and addressed to me, dated the day of my higher offer, indicates that my offer was put to the vendor but was rejected and contains an invite to raise my offer.
This letter is surprising and rather suspicious.
Firstly, because its content was totally contradicted by the Manager, Martin Durber, both in a telephone call I had with him the following day and later when I found out the house had been sold (three days later).
Secondly, whilst addressed to me, neither the letter, nor the content, was ever conveyed to me by post, by email or by telephone except in response to GDPR request.
Thirdly, whilst this letter is dated 3rd Nov 2020 it was only recorded onto Bradley’s contemporaneous Journal Report systems on 7th Nov 2020 after the property had been sold and only minutes after I had spoken to Martin Durber raising a complaint.
Responding to my Head Office complaint, Martin Durber was adamant that the letter was not backdated, and Bradley’s refused to supply the document metadata under my Data Protection request for verification.
Further examination of the letter properties clearly indicates that this letter was backdated (see photo).
If you are really following an internal complaints procedure then you may wish to invite the authorities to look a breach of the Counterfeiting and Forgery Act 1981 in the creation and use of a ‘False Instrument’ contrary to Sections 1 and 3 of the said act.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleWe didn’t know where to start as first time buyers! The advice and guidance we have received from the staff at Bradleys Liskeard has been amazing. Anya has been so helpful providing us with all of the information we needed and is continuing to do so along our journey! Anya & Martin keep us updated with houses we may be interested in. We are even more excited for the next steps as they have made this process so easy for us.

GoogleI was recommended Bradley’s Liskeard by a work colleague and as someone in sales myself i believe word of mouth is one of, if not the best marketing tool. I called up in hope of a professional service and was delighted to speak to Anya who was relatively new to her role but despite this showed a great deal of knowledge, she took all my details in a confident manner and guaranteed a call back from Martin who duly rang me within the hour. After talking with him, he was interested in my needs and arranged for him and Anya to visit the property. So far so good and look forward to the next few weeks to complete with them. Could not ask for more and pretty sure Anya is in good hands learning the ropes with Martins experience and expertise.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleAlthough I didn't manage to find my property with Bradley's liskeard. Paige was so helpful and friendly, she made it such an enjoyable experience and I really appreciate all the effort she had put in for me and my family. If I find myself looking in the liskeard area again I wouldn't hesitate to contact Paige for her help. I couldn't recommend Paige enough for anyone looking to rent a property through Bradley's liskeard.

GoogleAs a first time buyer the thought of looking at properties was fairly daunting. But after my experience with the team at the Liskeard branch, and especially Anya, I found that searching for a new property and making viewings etc. couldn’t be easier! Updates on houses of interest came quickly and fast and never felt left in the dark like I have been with previous companies. I cannot recommend them enough!! 👍🏽PositiveProfessionalism

TrustpilotNo human element here...
Saw a property to rent that looks ideal so clicked online to arrange a viewing. Took about 30 minutes to complete their registration as I had to open an Experian account to get my credit score - among other things!
This was the first agency I had tried so assumed this was standard these days - it's not. The property I want to view does not allow children so while I currently have a 'child' as she is 17, she will be 18 in a couple of weeks - so by the time we move. Rang to get advice on how to complete the form and got an automated message redirecting me to fill in the online form! No space on the form to clarify any individual circumstances.
Completed form and didn't hear back by weekend when I was hoping to view property. Sent email but understand it can take a day or 2 for a reply so found a customer services number - phoned hours before they shut and got automated message that operators were all busy and I could choose to hold. I held and just a minute later got a message that my call could not be taken and to call another time -no option to continue holding.
The property I'm interested in was reduced in January and I thought initially this was due to lack of interest or something not obvious from the advertisement. I'm now inclined to believe it is due to noone being given the chance to view it!
This is ridiculous. I have jumped through hoops to try and get a viewing, I am a reliable and honest tenant and have been in my existing rental nearly 7 years. I won't be renting through Bradleys now even if they do get back to me as I don't feel they are serving tenants or their landlords with this overly restrictive gatekeeping and do not trust that they would deal with any tenancy issues adequately in the future.

TrustpilotVery poor customer service.
I would have given a rating of zero if possible, but 1 star is way above what this company deserves.
We used them as a letting agent for several years and our experience was of very poor customer service, usually just telling us what they thought we wanted to hear, when in reality they were not accurately reporting the condition of the property.
The tenants were dirty and lazy, but none of this was reported in the periodic checks carried out by Bradley's. Even when there were problems with the state of the property, these were played down or even not reported to us.
It took a visit in person by myself to see the poor condition and damage to our property, by which time eviction proceedings were under way.
When the tenants eventually left, the check out report was carried out and not even dated, so there was no accurate proof of the condition of the property on this date.
When asked about this, the staff became very defensive.
This impacted on us, as the considerable damage and neglect to the property could not be fully claimed for, leaving us out of pocket.
When trying to submit a claim to retain the deposit, Bradley's were of no help whatsoever, leaving us to do it all.
Think very carefully before you use this company as a letting agent.

TrustpilotNot impressed.
Not impressed.
Tried to rent via rightmove so called them. The phone number is just an automated system that directs you to their website and therefore useless. Went to their website: you can't even request more information without entering loads of personal details into this. As part of this Bradleys require you to send through an Experian credit check and you can't progress without it, this means you have to create an account with Experian too or other credit check agency... and accept all their terms and conditions...
Still, I ploughed on, completed a credit check and then go no response at all! Utter waste of my time.
Went back through right move to contact them, i.e. seemingly the only way to message them. Got a response telling me to go to their website and fill in all my details again!
Responsed to the email informing them that I had already done so and guess what? The email system is no-reply.
Shameful, hence this review.
I can only speak from personal experience, maybe they are great if you are a landlord or selling property but as soon to be both, I will not consider them for either purpose if this is how their tenants are treated.

TrustpilotWe are looking for a new home to rent
We are looking for a new home to rent, we were advised to try Bradleys Having contacted and registered with many estate agents in the south west of England we found all of them to be easy and straightforward to register with, but Oh My God when you get to Bradleys, you should dump them immediately. After a few minutes in to the registration form the information they require becomes beyond belief, they even want to know how much savings you have. That’s totally obnoxious and none of their business. We can understand that they require certain information but not this just to register for information on lettings (no other letting agency requests to have your private and personal information just to register or even getting info on properties to let in their portfolio ). BRADLEYS you are too big for your boots. And by the way you have the worst web site to navigate in the market. Pay someone to help or get a grown up to help you.

TrustpilotDon’t sign anything without getting advice
I would advise anyone to steer clear of Bradleys if you expect any level of service or communication.
We have been on the market with them for 18 months with only a handful of viewings.
I haven’t heard a word from them since April,
The For Sale board blew down in February. I reported this but no one has ever been around to put it back up.
I have now decided to remove our property from their marketing and have now been told they expect me to pay them £600.
I presume part of their strategy is that even if they don’t manage a sale then at least will get £600.
This seems a very risk free and lazy way of making money for what is supposed to be a Company working for their customers.
I have checked with 4 other Agents out there and none of them operate this way.
Do your research and don’t sign anything without checking elsewhere first.
